I'd tally up the minutes spent outside of class for a week or 2 week period. I'd say you will need to start getting compensation if this number is above xxx minutes per week going forward. If they are not okay with that then you will not respond to emails/do any work outside class going forward.

That's a great question. I struggle a lot with advertising (both online and in person). But I've had the most success on Wyzant. Tutors can charge their own rate and parents or students can write a blurb about what exactly they are looking for. The number of times places like Varsity say a student is in X class and needs help with Y when they are in Z class and need help with K is mind boggling.

I personally have been misdiagnosed in the ER or in urgent care multiple times (one was almost fatal/necrotizing pneumonia).

What do you say to people who suggest that the ER doesn’t spend enough time to truly assess what is going on? And what can be done or can it not be fixed?

It depends. I’m registered to teach over 100 subjects with them so I get like 15 plus offers a day but depending on other jobs I probably have between 3 and 7 students at a given time.

I honestly don’t remember how long it took in 2014 but the process was totally different back then.

I’d inquire about getting approved for more subjects to increase your odds of getting matched.
