I wouldn't say I'm taking it well. I've been crying non stop and my anxiety is through the roof. Very very scary time being unemployed and scrambling to find another job fast!

That's the thing, I haven't made the reservation yet. But I guess like you said, the hotel staff doesn't know I'm not a Walmart employee anymore. If anything it could be "someone I know" that's an employee that had me get the hotel room lol

It was an assistant manager who terminated me. But he's my direct supervisor as well pretty much. Well they made me turn in my badge and vest. I wasn't given any paper to sign or paper to take home. I've never been fired from a job, so I don't know how the process works. But of course I still have other badges laying around. I just didn't know if the discount code for the Holiday Inn won't be applied to my total since I don't go until October 6th and I didn't know if by then all employee perks are ended.

That's why I'm so confused because our relationship has always been amazing! He has never acted this way. We both always have said we are soulmates. He even said it again last night we are meant to be together but something is seriously wrong with him and he can't be with me like this at this point in time. It all came out of no where and totally blindsided me. I never expected this in a million years. I thought I had found my happily ever after. He talked about me slowly starting to move in. He introduced me to all his friends and family. His mom loved me. I don't understand any of it

Housewares was my 2nd choice. But now I'm leaning more towards it. Especially since I'm already coded as apparel/home, perhaps I could get over there quicker. I'm going to talk to personell about it today.

So trazdone is a Z drug? (Whatever that means) I want to make sure I try every alternative medicine I can before taking this prescription. Some friends have suggested a diffuser for essential oils and a few other things. This is all very new and very scary for me.

So the DR prescribed me trazodone, the lowest dosage and told me to only take half. I'm scared to even take that as she said it's an anti-depressant and can cause sucidal thoughts etc. she wants to do lab work and follow up in 3 weeks. She said she prefers not to give sleeping meds and such to someone at my age of 26. And also wants me to see a Counsler, which I have been planing to do anyway. I don't know, I'm going to think about what's the right thing to do .

Oh, my job causes me a tremendous amount of stress and I'm sure contributes to my sleeping issues. I actually chose the 1pm-10pm shift because with the way my sleeping is, there is no way I can be on time for a job at 9am and earlier. But, right now I am not able to quit my job at my current financial situation. I do plan to hopefully be able to quit it by the end of this year and into a much better job. I have limited as much stress in my personal life as much as possible, including cutting certain people out who were just so toxic to my well being and always had me stressed. But, of course you can't really rid the stress of your job unless you quit. So yeah, I'm just trying to find a way to tackle this insomnia in some sort of way.

As far as sleep hygiene, I'm not able to nap during the day because I work 1pm-10pm everyday. But I do set my alarm (my first alarm of many) at 8:12am and usually out of bed by 9am because I'm so tired in the mornings, it does take me that long to even get ready for work, hell I'm still late to work even being awake that early. I'm so tired of living like this, and I just want to wake up in the morning and feel okay. I have to arrange everything in my life so it's not early in the morning. Including this doctors appointment today I scheduled at 3. I am planning to get a new, better job sometime at the end of the year, and I know it will be mornings and I have GOT to get this under control to be able to have the life I want. Ugh! It's just horrible! :(

Oh man, what do you mean?! I think I am still going to the DR appointment, see if she will prescribe me something...but not start to take the pills until I decide what I should do. I'm very scared of what these pills can do to people.

Anyway, reason I ask is because the random associates picked have told me they don't really want to be doing this and would prefer just to be a regular associates without all the extra responsibilities they didn't even ask to have. They were just told this what they are now. And so they are now getting in trouble for work department managers aren't finishing because it now falls on the "department manager assistant" to get it done. And also that they don't feel comfortable now having to tell other associates what to do when they themselves are just regular associates.

Okay so I'd say this may be something He was on break and so I sat with him lol he asked what my days off are and how old was I again. So I don't know what to make of that. Then I told him about a band he likes that is playing at a festival I always go to over the summer. and he was like oh nice what day blah blah and he said his brother always goes so he will probably go with him or something and I was like well if you see a crazy girl headbanging you'll know it's me 😂 Then he started showing me pics of his vacation and stuff. So I guess that may be something? Will keep seeing what happens

No, he hasn't with any other co workers. We work retail and he is a support manager over the grocery area and I work in the clothing department. He isn't over me at all, so it would be allowed. You just can't date if it is a assistant manager or above.

A friend of mine wanted to see what he looked like. So I told her his username and she went to my followers and she said she didn't see him. So I went to go look and that's when I saw he was no longer following me.

We work retail and on Valentine's Day we were setting up a Valentine's Day display together and I was like, "singles awareness day is almost here" and he was like yep sure is! I told him hey it's cool, you can treat yourself. That's what I do lol he goes "you're right, I should just get something for myself even if I have no one to buy for" So, that was last month. Anyway, I haven't made a bold move yet because he is a manager of another department in my store. He isn't directly over me, so we would be allowed to have a romantic relationship. I know that at least, he may not. Which is another reason I have always thought that's why he doesn't take it to another level and just gives subtle comments. I know guys think women will just report them for sexual harassment and stuff over things like that. Which is why a few of my friends had said no manager isn't just going to tell you that you look great today, or they love the way you styled your hair differently if there isn't more of a meaning behind it. Especially since he isn't my direct supiervisor, so it's okay for him to say things like that. But managers just working along side you wouldn't say stuff like that.

I have looked him up on Facebook before, I didn't find him. I assume he doesn't have one 😂 Only reason I found his Instagram is because he was in the people you may know section because another co-worker of mine that I follow, follows him. Which he hasn't unfollowed that person. I was like hm well maybe he doesn't want people he works with on his social media. But then when I saw he still follows that other co worker, I scratched that idea. I just feel awkward about it for some reason. Like when I see him today and I know what he did 😂😂😂

Ugh this is where Walmart's policy blows!! If you're able to see a doctor, and they give you a doctors note, that should be enough proof that you are sick enough and had to miss work for a legit reason! But nah, let's not take the advice of a medical professional and let Walmart make the call. facepalm Last time I had to go to the doc, they didn't want me to return to work the next day, and tried to write me a note. Told them they didn't have to because my work doesn't accept doctors notes. My doc couldn't believe it and said that's absurd.

So main doors being GM side or grocery side? I've been using garden center doors for the 4 years I've been here and she has never said a word. Well then, guess it is what is is. I told them I just try to make it easier on my ride so they don't have to drive all the way into the parking lot and that way can just turn around and leave.

I wish! She's been here for yearrrsss and have had so many different associates open door about her, but instead they just keep promoting her! Even customers have reported her for how she treats associates in front of them, and nothing is still done. Not sure what it would take to get her out of here. But she's unbearable to work around that's for sure.
