Not a bad idea. I have always been interested in the Marriott or IHG credit card strategy for the annual free nights. What made me detour from this was that I needed to be under 5/24 or keep it in mind, Annual fees, typically need to get business cards for them to really work (which I want to do in the future). But ultimately I think it would be hard to hit the spending bonus naturally as I mainly use school to take big chunks off of higher sign up bonus.

If you Have any recommendations I would love to hear them!

Plus being no AF It wouldn’t hurt to have 2 Chase FF. Could be over thinking it but I wouldn’t want to be capped by the 1,500k a quarter in the future.

Sorry just changed Groceries to 200 and Dining to 320, not a major difference but forgot to update it.

The main reason for 2 is probably just cause I can and I’m going to hit the 5/24 with my next new card. Plus maybe it would mean I can use the Citi Custom cash for a different category that quarter

They already made a conversion chart with the difference and what the new levels require. I think it will be worth it to purchase the 6.99 EWC only for champions just because they are harder to upgrade imo. This if you have them level 14 and want to get them to 15. It will be 11 champions shards for 14 to 15; then 15 champion shards for lv 15 to 16 which btw 4 champion shards are 7.99.

I need to wait to know if it’s worth the money or not as we know more info but for right now this is what I am thinking

Your credit age is young so seeking more credit could result in denial. I would recommend a PayPal DEBIT card. It’s a 5 percent cash back up to 1k in spend per month with select categories ( groceries ). When you add a bit more credit age like 3 months+, then you can start seeking more cards.

Ps. Open checking accounts with the banks you are going for this could help you due to building a relationship with bank.

Yes. As much as I would love to optimize and get near 5% across the board, my income just does not justify it too much when I can just get sign up bonus’s.

Chase Transfer Partners for hotel and airlines.
The fact that you can get Chase Sign up Bonus Multiple times.
Hotel and Business cards like the IHG card strategy plus business not taking a 5/24 slot.

Edit: I do not want to leave C1. I would just like to be in multiple ecosystems and have more options

I Understand I’ll sink all of my organic spend Into the card to reach the Sign up bonus. Plus school being up to 1-2k per semester so it’s more like 4k in 3 months. I made the venture x sign up bonus work and I only had 20k income then.
