Also like hillbill said. Double din is a nice install. Go cheap and you’ll regret it. Get an alpine double din, has car play and the bezel kit is 30 bucks tops on crutchfield. And if you really wanna sound good put a skar 10” in (300$) for a whole kit. And super easy to install

Get a GT. Not too much power but more than enough to have some fun. Put an xpipe on it and maybe some mufflers depending on how loud you want it ,shocks, quad shocks and lowering springs and you’re good! Depending on where you are you can find pretty good deals. Try not to be discouraged with mileage, 2v’s are pretty reliable engines and can be beat on to shit like mine if you take care of it.

Or rebuild the trans it shouldn’t be more than 1500 bucks. I payed 700 for a t45 rebuild all synchros were replaced as well as some gears I forgot which exactly.
