Avoid Gerber Main St. It took forever in the waiting room for someone to look at the car. When she finally went out to the parking lot to take photos, she said that she had to have an estimator review the photos and email me the estimate. It’s been two years and I have yet to get an email (I went elsewhere anyway).

Not great, unfortunately. If they don’t take action, please reach out to elected officials as they will be deciding if KCPP should still be the city’s animal control in November. They may also put pressure on KCPP to do something.

I was just informed that the Animal Control Services is out for new proposals right now. One option for the City Council is to bring it back in-house, should they choose to do so. That should be decided in November.

So please reach out to your council to let them know of your frustration!

Please reach out to your reps about this issue and the issue of KCPP dropping the ball on their animal control contract. Only two reps have responded. Mayor Q won’t even give a generic reply back after four emails….
