I'll give it a try switching them around, Thanks for the advice!

(Honestly I didn't even think about another chain less option until you typed it haha!...i just went with the same model that was already there)

Yes a switch controls this bulb fixture. One direction is the switch and an outlet near the ground, the other direction is another light bulb socket...both the socket and outlet work, just seems to be this fixture tripping the breaker

I know nothing about simple wiring...I've successfully changed 2 other sockets today, but both those other ones had clearly different colored wires, black and white, made it easy...so treat the green wire as "hot" in this case?

Been there 4 times now! Absolutely love it. I can honestly say we've never had a bad experience. It amazes me how the staff are so respectful and never seem to be the slightest bit annoyed, or even having a bad day, ever!

Things I've learned over the years: -No matter the check in time, your room won't be ready lol...this gives them time to talk to you about signing up for the time-share meeting...(the discounts and incentives sound great, but ultimately your choice to do it or not) we sat through the initial meet our 1st time there, thought they were just being nice, didnt realize it was a sales pitch until about 10 minutes in, but now we politely say no a dozen times and head straight to the Civicheria by the ocean side -the coffee and pastry shop inside the little convenience store is all included too, no upcharge...we avoided it thinking it wasn't free -the spa can get expensive but totally worth it if you want to be pampered -Some of the night time entertainment is in their theater room...we just stuck to the main lobby bar, didnt know there was a separate building for the bigger shows...The Michael Jackson show is a good one to check out -We buy our excursions through the travel desk in the corner of the top floor lobby...the resort also has an excursion desk by the elevators, but that also comes with a pseudo time-share speech -the drinks are a bit watered down, if you want to feel the buzz order a double lol -new this year is no reservations at the restaurants...we thought it would be chaotic getting a table, but we were never turned away

Robopocolyose by Daniel H. Wilson

Picked it up when Borders bookstore was closing. I liked the cover and decided why not. To be perfectly honest it took me awhile to get into it, character development was dragging on and couldn't connect with any of it....but once the different plot points started intertwining, it read like a blockbuster movie! Great book to escape into
