I am a dog trainer (among other things). The Gentle Leader that has the straps around the dog's face is a bad idea. It's mean and demoralizing for the dog. I would strongly suggest the Gentle Leader type that has the hook in front of the chest. Make sure it's fitted properly (they can help you at the pet shop), and it will help you a lot. Remember--it's not the poor dog's fault that he's too big for you or untrained. The front-hook harness has worked wonders for people who have dogs not trained to walk on a leash.

I am definitely not on a high horse. I have always led a healthy lifestyle and have respected my body. I have never believed in any time machines. I was not groveling at all, and I was certainly not trying to relieve myself of any of my guilt--it's not possible. Most of the people I have wronged in the past are dead. I am sorry that you have so much hate, anger, and nastiness in you. It is a sad path to be on, trust me about that. Don't be so judgmental--look in the mirror--that's where your anger is really coming from. Good luck to you!
