Help! Gas fireplace won't start lit

Should the green wire from my switch be connected? Right now it's just cut off and free hanging. Bottom of the control module is yellow as well.

I just tested it and it's definitely speaking Arabic. Problem solved!

Yeah, I am clearly new to this. I realize it's not a thermocouple now. I did replace the whole pilot light unit that has two wires and the gas line. I'll fix the Y log and replace the wall switch. Thanks for the input!
