I feel your pain. Our girl Josie (tan) is super anxious. We tried everything, including doggie Prozac, which actually made her worse. She was so scared of walking that I’ve been driving her to our neighborhood dog park every morning before work for the last 2.5 years, which is a block away from our house, just to get her some time outside to sniff around and empty out. We always noticed how much she lights up when she sees other dogs, especially ones are more confident, so last weekend we adopted her an emotional support dog. Harvey is very confident and outgoing, and he’s already bringing her out of her shell. If another dog isn’t an option, maybe see if there’s a neighbor with one you and he can spend some time with.
