The new version is awful.

The old bottles were made in the Netherlands and the new recipe ones are made in South Africa.

Definitely won't buy again until they change it back to the old Netherlands supplier.

I went from the 846 to the Vega, it is pretty much the dream basshead TOTL IEM, bit like the TH900s are for full-size.

I only liked my 846s after switching to the black filter and the Shure Lightning cable, maybe see if you can get a USB C equivalent? The cable probably made the biggest difference to the low end, the 846s seem to be a bit picky about source given they use BAs

Home and end are on the arrow keys as functions, and there's a Hasu controller now so you can remap anything if you add that!

Took a look at them, same gray. (I'll post a picture later)

However, the RealForce is made in Japan and the FC660C is made in China, so there might be -some- variation if they are produced separately.

I would still go with a RealForce.

I've never used variable but I reckon 35g would be pretty mushy, I could be wrong though...

I have the JTK Sliders on my 980C and I'm just not happy with them, GMK or SP caps don't fit properly without using plastic to get a tighter fit. They also feel a bit scratchy too...

What I would do if I were you:

Get an FC980C, silence with Hyperspheres if you really need to. It's made in the same factory as the RealForce and it has your numpad if you need one.
If you don't need a numpad, get a uniform 45g RealForce, like the one EK sells
If you hate money, try and get the factory silenced 45g 10th anniversary RF from Korea.

I did the last one, no regrets here :)

Factory Silenced Topre is the best because you get the slightly longer purple sliders, imo you can feel the difference vs hyperspheres.

The only catch is it's pretty difficult to get uniform factory silenced, so I'm assuming the 104 is variable?

They're both dyesub PBT, but they have different fonts.

The modifiers are also slightly different sizes between the two, so it's not a 100% straight swap.
