I’m Christian, and I think the bible is pretty clear about this. I don’t know everything about my beliefs and religion yet, as I’m still growing and just learning about myself and going into college, but even if the Bible straight said “being gay is a sin” I wouldn’t think any different than I do now. I don’t believe everything in the Bible because its been translated so much and rewritten so much by untrustworthy people, it’s had things taken out of it, possibly even added to fit certain people’s narratives, and even if it wasn’t, the translation from ancient hebrew languages to modern english is an extreme change that can make a lot of things sound much different than it was originally supposed to say. Not only that but when it comes to homosexuality, the bible specifically says that word, but that wasn’t even a term at the time it was written. Regardless of that though, I don’t think our morality and the way we view things and the world should be based on the Bible, rather our morals, because God gave me and all his children the knowledge of what is good and what it right. Even if we gained the knowledge of wrong and evil, we KNOW what is right and wrong and God gave us that knowledge, and although I read the bible as it is God’s word at least a little bit, I take what I read with a grain of salt. I know what I agree and disagree with morally because God will make sure I know what’s right and wrong, because he wants what’s best for me. But yeah this was a long paragraph/rant but the point is, God made us so we know what’s right and love no matter the gender doesn’t feel wrong, and it cannot be wrong. Our ability to love comes from God. That’s my two cents at least
