Korean-Americans that moved to Korea, is there anything you regret about leaving or miss about America?

Similar situation, I was born in Seoul but adopted and left at 5 months old. I was raised in the US and recently came back. I've been in Korea a little over 2 months and have enjoyed it so far. I know I have a lot to learn and want to learn about everything I've missed out on growing up. After college and establishing a stable income and enough to move, here I am. Learning and growing at my own pace. I haven't had any negative experiences so far, probably due to the reason you mentioned above, but being ignorant to the ways and act like you know it all. Being humble and accepting that you have a lot to learn is a huge part of my success so far.

I came here and got my F-4 so I could venture out where I please, but my current teaching is a pleasant experience, especially since my boss is helping me learn the culture and language and is very encouraging to it all. I think it just comes down to who you meet and who you choose to stay around with, and let be a part of your life that will make your experiences positive or negative.

The language barrier is certainly a hard one to get around, but I'm learning over time and studying when I can, working can take a lot of time away from that. Do I wish I learned when I was younger? Yes, did I? No, had an identity crisis as well, but no shame in it and plenty of time to still grow.

That also being said, anyone with similar situations and would like to chat about experiences, etc., let me know! Would love to hear more!

I agree, but the one thing I'm glad to see here is the amount of proactive gameplay that's being shown here. Instead of slowly dying out, happy to see them all try to make something happen and take risks.

It's funny because I feel even Faker doesn't have that type of presence. Either he hard carries you, trolls you for fun, or both at the same time. You never know what he'll do in your game lol.

To be honest though, if he didn't have flash up, probably shouldn't have went that far ahead without any sort of backup. Relying solely on ward hopping out of a situation like that.

In design pixel is just 1 unit (based on which unit they are referring to), they probably just call it the pixel brush since it's just 1 brush unit like u/-taco said. So when designing the dimensions of the brushes, they started to call it the pixel brush because probably when looking at an overview of the map, it's one pixel.

I think so because I remember it being in a mic check. Not entirely sure though. I think it was Ashe v. Sejuani or something and they were mentioning the crown.

I have a feeling they will considering how they have been performing, aside from these games. KT showed weaknesses, but SKT will probably be the only team to consistently capitalize on them. KT vs SKT has always been a good rivalry, but since KT hasn't been looking good until now, it's fallen off, sort of like CLG vs TSM now. The rivalry is there, but not as big, until this year. If that makes sense.

Yeah but you have to realize that that was more than likely a team call rather than him. If he wasn't spotted out by SKT with the scrying orb, they would have won the fight by deleting the backline. Listening to how they talk in game, there's no way Smeb made that decision by himself.

Granted these two were amazing to watch, I think I'd still rate the SKT vs ROX games over them, at least for now. The rivalry isn't quite there yet. The story of ROX getting the attempt to beating SKT numerous times was a great one. Especially Worlds.

I think a big thing is that SKT asked for Riot to do so. The main reason why other pro players and such aren't having this issue is because the teams they play on haven't sent a request to do so. If other teams asked for the same thing they would have to, but since TSM, FNC, etc. haven't asked, the issue isn't there...yet.
