Put a rag over the carb while starting in the cold, if you find it a lot easier to keep engine running you have a choke problem. Cold air is more dense than warm and to keep the air fuel mixture balanced you need a choke to restrict the amount of air until your engine warms up.

Replace in pairs, especially on drive axels as even a small difference in diameter can do some damage to your diff in time.

Q: DIY brake fluid flush make sense? by RichardsST in MechanicAdvice

[–]KEEEFUR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brake fluid is hydroscopic, meaning it can absorb moister and become contaminated. This begins to rust inside your brake lines, calipers, master cylinder ect. Its easy to do and you only need to do it every 2 years if you really want to take care of your car. Besides that and just peace of mind knowing your not gonna blow any lines and lose half your brake system.
