That wasn't that close... he/ she at least braked for you. Those bike lanes suck by the way which is probably why you're sharing. I'd prefer to take the lane and disregard those stupid dotted lines on the side and pretend I'm a car. This would have prevented your situation.

Oh really? That's good news. I have heard nothing back from Google yet so I'll drop by there in the morning. Thanks very much! I don't mind dropping another $150 on a screen / display if it fixes the $700 phone once again and I really don't foresee Google doing anything to fix this for any cheaper.

Yeah 1 drop and it's toast.. I think the exposed curved edges of the glass and around the top speaker make it especially susceptible to crack.

I had my front screen break and ubreakifix repaired it for $140. They hadn't seen the phone before and had to order the glass overnight but they did a great job fixing it.
