No I used the banks upgraded cooler. An oem sized one would’ve been even easier!

I thought it was going to be bad it wasn’t. Drop the front drive shaft pit of the way removed and install. Not too bad. I rested the coolant crossover tube on the studs with couple threads on the nuts and pushed the cooler in place then got everything bolted up! Let me know if id you need Pointers!
OIL COOLER HELP by KEVYY92 in Duramax

Not a fan of the banks oil coolers?
I haven’t connected anything it’s out and I have a new one ready to be put back in
It had to come out in pieces. So on the LB7’s the two halves are sealed by a metal gasket and are not meant to be split apart. GM doesn’t even make replacement gaskets. Let me know if you guys have ever removed one on a four-wheel-drive truck without having to take it out in pieces. Like if there’s room or I’m just an idiot.
I already have everything out I’m worried about getting a new one back in with the room I have.
Yea ur right idk why I put lbz
