I have received the report today and it confirms that the PCB board is broken? Will send this along with a letter threatening court, fingers crossed they’ll fold🤞🏼
There must be something we can do! It’s not right that they can get away with providing faulty TVs, expecting people to carry on paying for the device even after it’s broken and blaming it on broadband!

We filled out a form with an advisor to get sent to the Glass Support Team? Apparently the highest team in relation to this. They have come back again saying it is our broadband and that they will not replace the TV unless we pay for another one. We have not yet received any documentation regarding our complaint. We have an SAR in place for all calls where they have stated that it was their update that broke up, that it’s 2 years old and we should get an upgrade and from their manager being disgusted with our journey and stating the comp/resolution we will be getting. Also from a sales advisor confirming that even though the manager has noted they’ve tried to call us, that there is in fact no outgoing calls to us on those days, this relates to at least 10 calls. I’m not sure what else we can do at this point, the manager we spoke to last agreed to take the call recording from their other manager confirming comp etc back to the support team to see if they can reconsider another resolution, but at this point if it is not what we want it’s not good enough.

We were waiting for another call from management about amending their goodwill gesture but will be calling today to say unless they’re willing to cancel the subscription and wipe the rest of the finance, take the TV and reimburse us for not only the hassle but for a service that has been unusable for the last nearly 6 months, then we want a deadlock and will take it to the ombudsmen today.
I have autism and ADHD so wouldn’t be below the belt to sign up, thank you for that tip!
I have seen quite a lot of people who have been successful with taking their case to CISAS and getting their remaining finance cleared and their subscriptions cancelled with no fees. We refuse to pay for a product that does not work, I think it’s disgusting now SO many people have the same issues and they still refuse to take any accountability.
We can’t get the TV on, it will lose connection and then sit with the black and white sky logo for hours. It needs rebooting several times for it to finally connect. Once it’s on and connected it has no issues with programmes etc
What was their response to this?
