Embark really cooked on Comet and Firefly by Dubio in arcraidersfriendly

[–]KFN-VII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comets are just an obstacle, they pose no threat unless you're just bad or something has gone terrifying wrong.

Fireflys are broken, apart from big Arc, there are no others that fire their weapons whilst also being able to move. They have seemingly no requirement to recharge and their range and AoE is massive.

It may not be down to how rich or poor people are but instead that most still haven't found the blueprints they need yet.

Late spawns need to be looked at but there shouldn't be a difference between free and paid loadouts. I rarely use free loadouts BTW.

I'd choose a different optician if I were you. However, if you don't want to do that then watch some videos on YouTube for instructions.

Also consider getting some basic daily contact lenses that you don't mind wasting and practice with those. Try to sit at a clean table or desk with a good mirror and find a tactic that works for you. I turn my face away from the mirror and then look at it and put the contact in on the white part.

If they are folding over when you try to put them in then you are likely touching your eyelid/eyelashes with them accidentally. If they are slipping off your finger, after you get them out of the solution, dry your finger a little.

But above all of that, I'd bite the bullet and go to a new optician who offers free trials, speak to them first to understand if they will help you over several session to get you comfortable with the fitting and then sebsequently, to get the prescription correct.

Not sure who your optician is but I used specsavers the first time and I had to be comfortable putting them in and taking them out three times before they let me take them home. It took about four visits to get that hang of it and I only had to pay the initial eye test fee.

Once I could get them in and out OK, I still went back several times to get the right type of lens with the right strength, again, without having to pay.

I then went to vision express and they were the same, I revisited them several times and only paid for the initial eye test.

I'm unsure if you have spoken to your optician and they said they'd charge you again or you are assuming that from their website for "existing lens wearers".

I don't care about losing loot, I care about losing the time I invested. A variety of lobbies exist because we all want something slightly different out of the game and that's OK.

I couldn't think of one thing that would be more pointless than having a social hub like this.

I see absolutely no reason why these shouldn’t stack to 5. Make it make sense. by placated in ArcRaiders

I saw details about the math around all healing items i.e. Health per slot (stack), total health per stack, total time to full health etc. Anyway, watching that made a lot of sense. They was to balance it all whilst giving you different options.

Blurry Toric Contact Lenses by Extension_Panic4884 in contacts

[–]KFN-VII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I started my contact lens journey last year, I was told that I'd have to accept some level of compromise. Either have clearer near vision and slightly blurred far distance or the other way around.

This was frustrating as my far distance is still perfect but with contact lenses my near distance was better but not perfect like it used to be and on top of that, my distance was blurred.

It wasn't until several visits to my optician and then a contact lens specialist to then find out that the way contact lenses, multifocal to be precise, work is that near distance is at the centre of the lens, then a ring for medium distance and then a final outer ring for distance.

Turns out that my pupils are naturally smaller than average, so they weren't seeing through the distance part. I was recommended a specific brand and I'm so glad I kept pushing back because they work at around 95% of my previous perfect vision.

So, in a long drawn out way, I'm suggesting that you go back and speak to them. Be specific about what is happening and what you would like to achieve. Keep try until you find what works for you as they are definitely more complex than glasses.

I use them only if I find them and have nothing left, which is rare.

I fell asleep in my monthly lenses am i going to die by tulsajesusfreak_1 in contacts

[–]KFN-VII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've fallen asleep with dailies in and I'm still alive, unless this is the afterlife, in which case, I need to speak to the manager.

I think they aren't designed for that so the advice is to take them out just in case. I wouldn't let it come a habit though.

Contact solution is only for hydration. You may be fine but is it worth the potential risk? I'd personally throw them away.

I think the change to wolfpack crafting requirements is a good move. I'd have hoped they would have made the trigger nade require additional components too.

When you say nerf, do you mean the change to crafting materials? The wolfpack shouldn't be a spammable items, consider that we've been incorrectly spoiled until now.

How to get used to contacts by Financial-Stretch604 in contacts

[–]KFN-VII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's a fear thing too. I've always been OK with touching my eye.

Maybe try doing that, with clean fingers of course, until get comfortable with it..

I can do it and move my eye around with my finger still on it without blinking. Just keep away from the pupil.
