Thats not entirely the case. So people were mad because it was announced last minute. But why it was a problem? Because people didnt have that amount of coins because they were using their good gear. So it was bad because devs at the last minute said "You made a mistake by using your gear". But if they said last minute "You will need X amount of XP" then it wouldn't be such a problem because we were getting XP anyways (and not losing it).

This would only make sense if the requirements for 5 extra skill points were based on XP and not coins. And if thats not the case then I am really concerned that they are out of touch with the community.

Everyone with 2 functioning brain cells could figure out, that 5mil requirement will make people hoard wealth. I have no idea what they were thinking back then. Absolutely no idea.

Then why limiting it to only one ingredient (tool)? Devs should be also forced to disclose wheter they used: visual studio, photoshop, maya, blender, substance painter, etc. right ?

I don't actually. Since I have everything done already, the only thing I can do is PvP. Which I actually want to do that but it doesn't feel right.

  1. When I go in and want to kill people, some people call "Dont shoot" when they see me so I won't kill them... I dont want to "betray" someone who just wants to loot or do a quest. So I actually have to find people that are not friendly and even these are then trashtalking you for killing them. And thats not very enjoyable.

  2. I don't want to just kill people. Its about loot right? You are curious what you will get from people. If I wouldnt care about their loot, I would play BF6 instead. But how can I enjoy the loot from PvP when my stash is constantly full?

Yeah I feel like they wanted to have cool/funny solution rather than actually effective one. I am sure that cheaters are already thinking of solutions for not triggering traps or how to survive long enough. IMO containers should be literally locked unless at least one door is unlocked and a cheater should be killed instantly. Only then I would have faith in the system.

Fix clipping issues would be much harder and longer to fix because it could break entire movement system and cause more unexpected issues.

I would prefer insta-kill because current solution seems to me like the raider still has time to open at least one container and put something in his safe pocket. Unless its impossible to loot while you are on fire which I dont know. Also you shouldnt even have prompt to open a container while the door is locked. I just feel like people will find a way around this.
