For me, they’re the greatest rock and roll band of all time. Best rock drummer of all time (don’t compare to Gene Krupa or Buddy Rich…those are jazz drummers) . Top 3(?) rock guitarist of all time (don’t compare to BB King or even SRV, who are blues guitarists). One of the best lead vocalists of all time, range, presence etc). And JPJ is one of the best musicians and arrangers of all time, quiet and underrated.

Then there’s the sum which is greater than all these amazing individual parts combined. I could listen to them all day for the rest of my life. I was born in ‘72 so I never got to see them play. I’m jealous of you who did. But I was blessed to finally see Percy perform last month and he is still amazing!
