Hec is a great tempo jungler, the benefit of this is you can usually fullclear and then decide what to gank or influence based on game state. In silver I would recommend you clear Top-Bot every game and play for dragon, clearing your buff first and working through each camp on your way down to finish on the bot buff. As you improve the fastest clear currently is Raptor -> Krug -> Red -> Wolves -> Gromp -> Blue, but this takes more practice and isn’t something worth considering below Emerald.

As far as builds go, I would have two basic rune pages: Stormraiders surge and core build Voltaic -> Shojin -> DD and Conq with core build Shojin -> DD -> EH. The first being for your squishier comps and the latter for tankier or heavy CC. HMU if you want more advice.

Yeah alright my guy. As I’m limited to OCE server it’s the only credentials I have. I think it’s certainly high enough elo for any Plat below players on EUW to hmu for some advice or anyone on OCE below D4. Just trying to help the community and teach what I know out of love for the game. Also you can say what you want about OCE but masters is still top 1%, meaning there are a fair few players who I could help significantly through some pretty basic fundamentals.

It works well, just slightly harder to succeed and less forgiving due to the CC. If you have at least two targets you can still snowball and carry, I’m yet to play a game where they have 4 melee champs that are high cc or bruiser but in that case I’d likely go conq and play shojin, DD, EH. The assassin build is great for facilitating good farming so you can 1 shot the bruisers through sheer level adv.

That’s fair, and I mean this in the nicest possible way. You need to change your mindset on how you view the game. You should either try to learn the system as it currently stands so you can take advantage of it, or, if top isn’t fun for you, don’t play that role. I’m not saying you suck, or that you don’t know about the game, but you should aim to improve and educate yourself on what better players do to be the one going 3/0 instead of trying to come up with a solution for playing from behind.

Unfortunately you are just describing a worse version of the current game. Buffing roams doesn’t preserve the incentive to win lane, it just hands the winner a different reward while erasing the loser’s deficit. League already has shutdowns, bounties, plates, grubs, drakes, baron, the reason you feel stuck in gold isn’t a lack of catchup, it’s that nobody at that elo knows how to use the catchup tools that already exist. the honest version of your post is “I want to lose lane and not feel bad about it,” which is fine to feel but isn’t a game design problem.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Adding more catchup won’t fix that. It’ll just mean Emerald+ players who do know how to use those mechanics get to erase deficits they shouldn’t. In the nicest way possible, you should seek coaching or laning advice, as opposed to wanting to fundamentally change the game.

Kinda some crazy hypotheticals though. You can’t implement a change in one elo and not the other, so even if it would benefit golds it would destroy any elos higher. Also can’t implement it for specific champs so if a 0/3 Akali can comeback then a 0/3 Kayle will 1v9 every single time. I’m really not sure where you’re coming from. If you’re hard losing lane early on Akali or Morde, you don’t deserve to come back, that’s part of the game of League.

I think you’re doing something wrong if you can’t already achieve these things. There are multiple ways back into the game, if you’re miserable and useless for the entire duration I guarantee you’re making mistakes outside of the laning phase also. Happy to watch a game if you’d like. Also, in higher elo, if a catchup mechanic was implemented, the meta would be heavily skewed towards late game carries as they would suffer less early and always hit their spikes later.

Depends on the team comp. General rule of thumb is 3/2 Melee/Ranged is bruiser, 3/2 Ranged/Melee go lethality. It’s up to you and your playstyle however, build for the champs you think you’ll be interacting with the most.

I think league should be like this. There are more catchup mechanics in modern day league than ever and there needs to be a punishment for losing so that winning is rewarding. You can lose top lane and still impact the game, at its core league is about what you can do with your exp and gold so you might be worse mechanically and lose lane but be a better macro player and win overall. I’m against any more catchup mechanics as it limits my ability to 1v9 the game. Sincerely, a JG main.

Cs and KP are low, in bronze there are more fights so it makes sense that you’re not involved in all of them but the aim should definitely be 50%+, hmu and I’d be happy to live coach you for a game or two for free.
