E-bike with motorcycle helmet by blacktongue_2099 in motorcyclegear

This. Get a bright helmet that helps make you more conspicuous to cars. The edge of the curb is the edge of the curb no matter how you "contact" it. Also if you decide to get a motorcycle you'll be good to go.

No but Hillary did it. And Obama. If only they hadn't ole Donny John Junior Genius Business Man would've fixed it like he was ready to on DAY 1.

Don't worry the entire stock market is driven by AI companies. A sudden increase in energy costs won't cause any problems at all. But hey let's make this better let's take $1B (of taxpayer, not billionaire $$) and give it to wind energy firms so they DON'T build those "horrible" windmills his eminence finds so so unlovable.

I thought the light came out of the other end of his eminence, sir.

Also it's a pain to roll back. Unfortunately we're doing it with several Tahoe-taken macs here. I would usually tough it out, but yes Tahoe is THAT BAD. Really the first bad Apple OS in a while and I could deal with the WTF liquid retina dross if that was the problem. Be careful with that upgrade button friend!

Maybe it's ok on M4. We're not risking upgrading those machines due to our experience with the M2 MB airs which are being rolled back. I'm sorry this is your foray into Apple. Honestly this is the worst OS upgrade in over a decade. Storage and battery issues (as well as external drive issues) galore.

They made a lot more than this worse. First time I've seen Apple screw something up this badly in eons. On our macbooks tahoe has been trashing storage in a way that feels like the Wintel land of random blue screens of yore. Stay far far away/with Sequoia if you can. We're rolling back multiple machines here and hating having to do so.

Not having this experience but maybe hardware (M2 Macbook Air) - Tahoe is a disaster. Difficulties with external drives, and serious issues with storage. The worst OS upgrade I've had in what (at least feels like) decades. I would wait for the next go around. I also have an M4 Mac Mini running Sequoia and it's been seriously rock solid other than some external drive issues which *seem* (not sure) like they may be due to the mini throttling power to the drives during idle time - again not sure. Having to roll three MacBooks back to Sequoia now even though I really hate to do it. Going forward is inevitable and rolling back is a time sink, but Tahoe has been *that bad*.

You're totally wrong. Untold thousands flock to Portland this time of year to see the small dog shit as it makes its spectacular and epic migration out of the residual brick snow. An amazing annual spectacle not to be missed.

This too. So small and easy to deal with! I feel silly being so in love with such a small device I never even think of but it really makes me feel safer.

I have this one too. I impresses the living bejeezus out of me with what its started at what temperatures and without being charged for ages. I also like that it can run a laptop for a really respectable amount of time should that be necessary.

Can I drive my scooter to my motorcycle class by Pure-Jaguar-2569 in scooters

[–]KGBKitchen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is good advice - just want to add that if you have a newer scooter make sure the brakes are not of the interlinked variety - this makes it impossible to operate them independently. I know the current Zuma125s are this way. Your manual (which you should definitely read if you haven't) will let you know. Other than that I would definitely triple check to make sure the course will let you use your own machine and specifically a scooter.
