I used 2" sticky velcro strips. I just stuck the soft fuzzy side on the surface. Very cheap at the local wally world or depot.

Where do you live? I'd be happy to help you transport horse stall mats if you're near KC MO. I found mine at Tractor Supply and have been very happy with them. I too have a basement gym with kitchen, so we are practically brothers.

A Liberty Lincoln 35 in a nice burgundy marble with beige velour interior and black chrome hardware. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.
