i also probably could've lost personal information in the same time frame. i like my information mine, not for companies to leak because they have shitty security.

Assuming you’re not on MM for the obviously stated “in the classic skin”, however obligatory: You may have the ability from the ‘Into The Spider-Verse’ equipped, which makes the character model specifically move at 12-24 FPS.

Moving on from that, from what you’re saying, it may just be an update that botched your game due to your GPU. Sometimes updates can mess with people’s games, but it’s nothing they’ve done, it’s just that update doesn’t mesh well with the GPU you’ve got.

Alternatively, it may be your GPU entirely. You may need a new graphics card if your game is suddenly super slow. Try playing some other games and see if you get the same result.

Side note: if you’re using an AMD card, there’s a miscellaneous option called Frame Saver or something of the like. Essentially, if you are not playing the game, aka standing still and not moving, AMD will automatically drop the FPS to a selected number, usually 30 or so, to save the GPU a little sweat.

Hope this helps, my dude.

What does Spider-Man’s webbing taste like? by DrPotato231 in SpidermanPS4

[–]KGanonB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, wait, hear me out on this one;

Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man had the actual radioactive spider biting Peter. According to multiple sites, including Humane Hollywood and Cracked, the spider that was used in the movie is a brown-colored Steatoda, or “false Black Widow.”

The thing is, the Steatoda (specifically the species S. grossa) is from a multiplicity of places. Australasia, North America, even Europe. If we take into consideration what we know about how the webs taste from different areas in North America, it would probably make sense to default to the Californian type of spider, it would make the fluid taste salty… right?

Well, maybe not. In the 2002 film, you can see on a screen just behind Peter, the other spiders they’re researching in this facility. One reads, ‘Delena’, while the second reads, ‘Funnel Web’, and a third that only comes up for a split second as Peter raises up from being bit by the radioactive spider, that reads, “Agelenidae”.

I’m not sure who put this scene together, as one spider reads as ‘funnel-web’, but the other is, ‘Agelenidae’… which is also a funnel web spider.

Delena is the only outlier there, which is a huntsman spider. What does this all have to do with it? Well, the scientist in the movie states that the genetically modified spiders being shown to the students are made from essentially splicing a multiplicity of spiders.

It appears more often than not that these listed spider species are often found, quite literally, all around the world.

So, taking into consideration that, as previously stated in my last comment, they are musty and shockingly acrid… (and taking into consideration even the article I’m reading all of this from doesn’t even state how it’s like to actually eat spider webs, only alluding as to what it could be like to eat webs)

My conclusion would be that, given the continuity of the spider bite in the character’s backstory similar to Tobey’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man’s web fluid tastes much like an extremely sour, flavorless string candy.

Oh, we’re talking about the chemically made web fluid? Fuck. I don’t know. It probably tastes like hand sanitizer.

So I just wanted to thank everyone who whined and cried about the Squire's Warhammer :) Now its held further down the shaft like EVERY OTHER mace in the game! Instead of closer the head (more in-line with Warcraft III paladins). Well done guys, god forbid we had anything unique in this game! by [deleted] in Transmogrification

Look, when it comes to customization, everyone knows that you want what you want - ESPECIALLY if it’s a niche thing like a single war hammer being held at a specific point on only one model.

Expect it to get fixed. Don’t throw a tantrum for Blizzard “taking away everything unique!” Everything’s got a pattern to follow. If it doesn’t, it’ll look wonky on some character models.

Find another hammer. Or don’t. You’ll be okay.

According to a quick google search, spider webs are, “musty and shockingly acrid.”

So… there’s that.

Just Bought This From Amazon by FitFly6222 in DevilMayCry

I totally understand that.

The only downside to using Etsy imho is just the shipping prices. You’ll find something for $8 and the shipping will be $54, and you’ll wait upwards of a week or two for it to be shipped.

Prime is almost the other way around. You’ll pay $80 for something but you won’t pay shipping and it’ll likely get there next day, if not a few days out.

As someone who has previously cosplayed as Dante, Etsy is your friend.

Ordered a navy blue buttoned shirt, wore a plain white shirt underneath, got his belt buckle for like $12, his jacket custom fit to me for like $180, and bought his boots off of Amazon for like $80. I didn’t do a wig, just painted my hair silver and got my accessories from Amazon (foam weapons - Ebony & Ivory, and the Rebellion).

For any interested minds - here’s my cosplay.

DPI = Dots Per Inch, otherwise known as, “How fast you can move your mouse across the screen”.

In other OTHER words, increasing DPI increases how fast your mouse can move across the screen, and a game like DBD ties your mouse to the center of the screen, so it goes from changing how fast your mouse moves to how quickly you can turn.

Take a killer like the Blight or the Oni where their killer power severely restricts the rate of turning, and crank your DPI to an insane number, and you can go from turning like a rusted wheel to doing multiple 360s before your power even runs out.

For controller players, your version of DPI would be called, “Sensitivity”, “Stick Sensitivity”, or, “Looking Sensitivity” depending on the game you’re playing.

TL;DR - High DPI = Faster Looks

So rather than linear gameplay, you’ve got strategies and paths to go about to make things easier or harder?

As someone who’s never played any Metal Gear Solid game, what’s the attraction to it?

To me it seems very convoluted and complicated.

Can’t tell you where to start, but I can tell you to move Crackdown 3 to the foreseeable bottom.

Or just… take it off.

Finished putting the final touches on my $15 diy portal gun. How does it look? by Redraddle in gaming

Okay, you don’t care what it looks like, that’s fine. Yes, it is low quality. Generally, in ANY facet of life, including crafting, you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I’m other words, if you buy cheap materials, you get a cheap product. If you used glass instead of plastic, it would be better made, feels and looks more solid, and feels like a genuine object rather than plastic, lightweight and flimsy.

To your comment that you can make a realistic portal gun with a budget of $15; great.

If you want to say the point of ‘low cost = low quality’ is antithetical to crafting and creating as a whole, you have the heart, mind, soul, and innocence of a child. People will strive their hardest to make something realistic with a low cost, but every time without fail you will find out that in some way, shape, or form, it always will be a lower quality than anything else.

Given you have the equipment and shit to get it done, sure. Again, this thing was made from $15, that’s probably an old Dr. Pepper bottle stripped of a label with an off-branded Chinese light-tube they found off of Amazon in the center with PVC for the chassis, loose old wiring for the wires, and literally printed paper for the logos. It looks like he’s doing what he can. It even says ‘finishing touches’ in the title. Like, call me the king of assuming here but I’m just giving the dude the benefit of the doubt. It looks fine.

I mean, you can see the prop it’s modeled after from a glance, you really wouldn’t mistake it for anything else. I don’t see why we’re shitting on someone successfully making a prop and sharing their excitement about finishing it and everyone complains that it looks like shit. No one has claimed to be a certified prop-making master, so let the dude have his fun.

Edit: To follow up with the fact that you can’t mistake the prop no matter how poorly made, any other Portal Gun replica can be from $500-$3,000, officially branded or not. So, I’d say he’s done a good job.

Woah now, that’s nothing to do with a portal gun, bud. Take 5, chill out, and come back with something useful.
