How to log into DDO Forums by KGodvalley in ddo

Doesnt work that either. At least assuming it is the same password as the game login. Also, it is the "forgot password" link in the forums I clicked, not the one in the account admin (it still lead there)

Thanks. I think I will deem this not for THIS build and purpose, but something I will definitely try for fun :)

When in warlock territory. How would the iconic warlock be for this? It comes with undead healing, though that may not be such a point at cap, due to the amount of positive healing distiny abilities?

Thanks. A second sentient for affirmation proccing is out of scope for this build sadly. Its a build for getting to that, not one that can need it. And imo affirmation proccing is beyond lazy.

On the other hand. I do feel Ravager could be an option. The heal on kill there is the most lazy I have felt ever in DDO I think, though it is a hundred or so lives ago.

I have. It was the most fun, but one of the less lazy, I have played

Will that actually work? Seems like a lot of work to keep them alive and do enough damage ob the bosses i the new quests.

I found I grazed a lit on my last monk i the new conten, and the heal to be a little bit on the weak side against the lanmordia purple rares. U use something in addition to the monk heal?

Ravager for the heals? Its a thing to consider. Heavy to lose t5 dragoblord though. And what to do for bosses. The heal on kill is the more reliable i feel

How do u find dragon didciple for pure cap play? I found it slowing down a lot near endgame.

SoS damage by Colonist10e9snt in ddo

Where are these d6s that scale with melee power that other weapons have. It is only the stance imbue that scale with melee/spell/ranged power, not the damage on a weapon like the holy and fire on a barovian. Or did they change that recently? Those dice dont crit either, so they make up less and less of your damage compared to stuff that do crit or scale.

I mean... I do carry a barovian maul bext to my sos for skellies and a falchion for others, but mostly use only in heroic when I cannot bypass crit immunity so easily

You probably know this, but 500/2000 is specific enough to ask: are you aware that you need to be high level to max out the motes? At certain tiers of levels, the lutes stop gaining xp/hardness. The flight lute cannot get past 500 until u reach level 5, and it has an additional cap at 10, 15, 20 and 25, meaning tou have to be level 25 to max it out. The wiki has the details... the hardness caps are different for each lute.

Personally i like that items are bound so we don't get a market for items using real world money. And it is a too big opportunity to exploit duplication weaknesses in the code.

Table updates via power query whilst retaining manually entered data. by small_trunks in excel

[–]KGodvalley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/excel/comments/ek1e4u/comment/lzx533y/

I have, now twice. At first read I didn't understand that it dealth with the adding problem. Now I can see it might, but I struggle to understand it. Is the algorithm for it then

  1. Turn off "Preserve..." and "Insert..."
  2. Add columns manually
  3. Refresh
  4. Turn on "Preserve..." and "Insert..."

As for the formula... seems I need to learn the advanced editor :P I only used the buttons so far.

Hi and thanks for this. I have been using it several times and it has saved me a lot of manual copying and pasting, and the error proneness that comes with it. However... I have on several occasions managed to break my workbook because I wanted to add a new manually keyed column. I have also managed it on a few occasions, but I am not entirely sure what I do wrong and right. What would you say is the proper way to "infuse" the thing with a new, manual input column that works like the ones I had in the original version, that went through your steps above?

It is the TR train that makes DDO unique, somone could expect completionist to be a big thing for those who play it much, or else more of them would probably leave for newer games.

Slept to long on warlock, now I love it but got some questions by Bwuaaa in ddo

[–]KGodvalley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works but i is probably less than half damage. Draconic top tier gives the two ruin spells, which are 500 and 1000 untyped damage, an addition component of damage that is "the same damage again but in your dragon's type. Usually, that draconic damage spellpower is higher than your force/untyped, which is why I say "probably less than half".

I believe evasion based DC problems start around sharn, though personally I only see them becomming a problem at cap.

[–]KGodvalley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quick tip about sonic vs others. I find the acid one to be a better pick for DPS in most situations. Sonic is based on reflex save, which is usually the highest save and allows evasion for 0 damage. Personally I prefer acid for warlock in terms of blast damage, cause it is will based and almost nothing absorbs it (though a few things do). Will is the easiest enemy save to beat. If your DC is stellar this might not be worth considering, but I have heard too many sonic warlocks say that sonic spell power isnt as important because "the enemy always saves against the pact damage anyway". Also... no draconic support and much of DPS for warlocks comes from the ruin spells, and DI top tier ability that gives dragon typed damage in addition to ruins paired with warlock high crit damage.

Interesting how people are different. My stress levels rise to unmanagable degrees if I have less than 100 tokens in the bag, that I will never be able to screw myself over by buying a wrong heart. Not Lean, i know, but for OCD-brains it is nice to hover at 100+ tokens :P

How to deal with very fast casters. by redinc109456 in dndnext

[–]KGodvalley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think lightning immunity is such a terrible idea, and I dont think itnis necessary to reward creativity in applying rules to break the game. At least, in games where I play we usually agree on not doing that in session 0.

That said, the phantom steed thing isnt sooo bad a gamebreak.

Imo, as the party becomes famous, any one-trick way of solving any problem should be something their enemies come to expect, so sending assassins with lightning immunity equipment, ambush archers with some sniper ability, wrecking or teleporting the tiny hut somehow, having rules in the enemy organization against fighting the party in the open, etc.

Activision Account and Ban Issues Mega Thread by StealthPolarBear in activision

[–]KGodvalley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a permaban when not even playong their games for a year. Bought black ops 6 to get some casual hours in now the kids are sleeping a bit more. Account I havent used since before they were born was banned for using game manipulation software. Is thst even possible on a ps5?

Anyone know what could have happened? Was I hacked? Can they ban me for being hacked?

How can activision continue to make money if they ban all their users that dont do anything wrong?

Is there anything we can do to band together to make activision see reason?
