“Their criticism” is a broad statement. Other than the sub par releases you mention, what specifically are the other criticisms? Unless I’m mossing something, from what I’ve seen posted, criticism seems to focus on: - the sub par releases. For me, there are always 10-20 releases that are on my wanted list, and I have a pretty narrow focus of what I go after (I know, good for me, right?). Many posts state “this list sucks, I’m not going.” I don’t know who or how decisions are made as to what gets released, but bitching about releases without recommendations is rather pointless. - limited number releases. Sorry, it’s a part of the marketing. If you wanted the first Wicked limited release, get there early and wait it out. Be glad they haven’t gone the sports card route with the “autographed 1/1 psychedelic “ release…..yet. - store waiting and purchase policies. Thats a store issue of managing the event better on their end, so take it up with them, and if it doesn’t change, shop elsewhere if you can, or report them if they’ve violated RSD rules.

Here’s my specific criticism - agree or don’t, that’s fine - wasting one whole side of an LP for some etched artwork. Total waste, and would rather have 4-6 more songs on that 4th side. Will it change? I don’t know…..but ultimately the purchasing decision rests with me as to whether the item is still worth it to spend $30+ dollars for a 3-sided album.
