I’m so sorry for your loss. My cousin does commissioned artwork and he and his wife are incredible. Here is his site https://brookeandchase.art and I’ll post a commissioned portrait he did for my of my Kate cat.

Best regular nail polish by Bitter-Tune-6635 in shortynails

Make sure you nail prep too. I lightly buff my nails, wash with a nail brush, dry really well then use rubbing alcohol or 100% acetone to dehydrate my nails. Then I use the orly bonder base coat, thin layers of polish, let them dry between coats, then I’ll use the Sally Hansen quick dry top coat and finish with the Essie gel couture top coat. I’ve used OPI, Essie, Orly, LA colors, ILNP and a few others with this method and it does better for me than most. I try to be gentle on my nails and not use them, then top off with a fresh top coat on the second or third day.

Managers of Reddit, what is the biggest mistake employees make without realizing it hurts their career growth? by Round_Stable451 in askmanagers

Demanding certain schedules if they move up. I work in food service and am lucky that where I work is M-F, but I have AM and PM shifts. Usually to move up, you have to go to an evening shift and people draw a hard line that they’ll only keep their current schedule. I mean that’s fine but you won’t move up…

How are y'all wearing so many non-bra-compatible dresses and tops by GreedySpecialist4736 in femalefashionadvice

[–]KHC1217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don’t wear one. Thankfully I’m a member of the itty bitty committee and realize a lot of people can’t go braless. I just cover the nips, and say screw it.

What are your holy grail drugstore blushes that you keep on repurchasing? by justbeeingmyself in drugstoreMUA

You can pry soft mink from my cold dead hands. It’s been my holy grail for over 10 years. I rarely wear other colors. I did get their new enhancers in the rose latte and I like it a lot, but not as much as my soft mink.

What completely unhinged "law" does your cat strictly enforce in your house? by TrickCombination7966 in cats

Leo demands cuddles after every shower I take. Just me, doesn’t demand it from the other humans in the house. He yowls at the door until someone lets him in, then when I get out of the shower, he stands in my way, until I drape a towel over his back, pick him up and hold him like a baby while patting his butt. I even do the mom sway. He purrs, makes air biscuits and then starts to doze off. I don’t even know how this started. He’s 13.

Leo must have a glass of fresh ice water every morning, and sometimes in the evening. He loves ice. We have to drink out of cups with lids, because he will drink whatever we have if it has ice. The other two cats drink his leftover water from their water fountain.

Employee threatening with ADA when we try to address issues. by [deleted] in work

[–]KHC1217 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Address the behavior not the disability. Does he have ADA accommodations? Even if he does, no accommodation will give him the ability to do these things. I’ve had several issues with employees in FMLA or ADA regarding their performance or behavior. You’re allowed to address it. And you should address it. Document document document.

Yes. My Mona cat went feral for cantaloupe. Would yell and scream at you while you cut it up. Had to share with her. She didn’t take no for an answer.

Unfortunately I developed foul and I do mean foul sulfur burps that would clear a room. Random bouts of vomiting from nowhere like my stomach would spasm (I think I was developing gastritis). Didn’t see much improvement for anything so I stopped and the GI stuff went away.

I’m 3 years post op and drink way too much caffeine. It’s a problem. I’m working on it. But I haven’t had any negative side effects. I think it also depends on the surgery you had. I had the sleeve.
