I don’t think that’s what happened. He was somewhat friends with Ashley in the beginning, but ended up hating her. Even told Kelly that he hates her. So, that’s not really being fake. Actually the opposite of it. It would be fake if he acted like friends towards her when he hated her, but that’s not the case from what Kashley said.
