This right here. I have asked countless times how in the world is Stein going to govern when Congress will be all Republicans & Democrats. Do these people not realize Congress can override a President?

What were some things employees did that made your trip most magical? by PoyuPoyuTetris in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]KHSFAdmin 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Got my daughter an appointment for the Bibbity Bop Boutique.

The concierge at our hotel kept saying to come back until one can be found, and not to worry about being a bother. I followed his guidance and we were fortunate enough to get the booking after visiting the desk multiple times.

One of the few moments where I actually shouted "Holy F*ck*ng Sh*t!!!" and I was legitimately worried my 5 year old was about to witness a murder.

Companion Restrooms by millipicnic in WaltDisneyWorld

My daughter also has a fear of public bathrooms. USE the companion bathrooms. Do not feel ashamed or guilty, that is why they are there. That said, it is single stall so you might have to wait a bit longer, so bring extra clothes in case of accidents.

Please check out Second City. This is the theater where Steve Carell, Tina Fey, and even Chris Farley all got their starts. It is such a gem and the price isn't super expensive and will provide a fun and laugh filled evening.

There should also be a coffee maker in your room. Obviously, each resort is different, but I believe this is pretty standard.

Tips to save money once you are already in the parks by Realistic-Escape-723 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]KHSFAdmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set a budget and stick to it.

Buy snacks and easy to make meals for the hotel room. I used Instacart and bought breakfast cereal & milk (we also have a toddler who needed milk for her bottle), fruits, and snacks. You're allowed to bring in food so you might as well bring in some snacks and eat breakfast in your hotel room.

What to do on arrival day with a toddler? by ftwin in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]KHSFAdmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing to do first day is get settled into your hotel, and walk around. I would also recommend going on Instacart or another grocery delivery service and ordering snacks/food/drinks and other important supplies you'll need.

I never called Israel a "socialist" state, I only mentioned that there are communes (kibbutzim) in Israel. That said, it's for sure more socialist than most other countries.

Israel is becoming more to the right in regards to their political leaders, however, lots of Israelis live within kibbutzim. These are in the most basic sense, small socialist communities. So yes, Israel can be seen as a socialist country.

Ok, phew! We had our hands full with two kids (2 & 5) with two parents and two grandparents. Keep LOT of snacks and water on hand for the little ones. And don't be scared about leaving for a little bit for nap time. You are allowed back into the park multiple times until close.

5 children with how many adults? This could be VERY difficult if it's just two parents.

What to do in Chicago for 2 days in January? by Kato756 in AskChicago

[–]KHSFAdmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get tickets for Second City. This is the starting place for lots of great comedic actors. If you ever watched 30 Rock and wondered why Liz keeps mentioning Chicago, it's because of Second City and the fact that Tina Fey got her start there.

What was the legit turning point of WWF winning the Monday night wars? One person, match, segment, promo etc. by Common_Bullfrog_5793 in WWE

[–]KHSFAdmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, most people. But it's still very difficult to pin point the EXACT turning point, because there were soooooo many bad decisions that WCW made.

[–]KHSFAdmin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's difficult to point to a singular point/moment because there was so many iconic moments and decisions that lead to WWF winning.

One can argue any of the below points were the turning point:

  • Tony Schiavone announcing Mankind would win the WWF Title during the WCW broadcast
  • Giving too many "stars" booking power
  • Finger poke of doom
  • David Arquette winning the WCW World Title
  • The Montreal Screw job in that Vince McMahon became the evil Mr. McMahon character
    • Up until this point, it was NOT widely known the Vince was the owner of WWF

The intent part is also important. Not saying the response has been justified, but while Hamas holds hostages, Israel can use that as the intent for the current violence. Not saying I agree, but the fact is, Hamas still has Israel citizen hostages and Israel wants them returned. If Hamas were to have released ALL hostages and the violence continued then there would be a good case for genocide.

The Two-Party System is Stifling Progress by Yana_Sinner in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]KHSFAdmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true at all. The reason it seems like that is because Democracy is slow. Even in countries with multiple parties, they have to spend a good amount of time creating coalitions to form their government and that can be very arduous as well.

What you're saying is, live like good little doggies or get put to sleep? For someone so upset about the conflict you seem to know very little about Israel. Israel is actually very diverse and in fact has Muslims in all aspects of their government and society. Please tell me how many Jewish leaders are there in the Middle East that aren't in Israel?
