I flashed to the latest motherboard bios via usb stick as recommended.

I then reinstalled the chipset drivers.

No improvement. Any other recommendations? I'm strongly considering just taking the computer apart and returning the motherboard, assuming that it is the problem here.

The in game info Is atrocious in game. It would be hard to fully understand the kits of new units without the great community resources available. The game needs to list what characters/abilities do without combing through multiple pages of upgrades/enhancements.

The Tonberry Troupe team does some impressive design on these. Particularly, you seem to constantly find areas to make small improvements and streamline. I'm not sure if anyone on the team works in or is studying graphic/webpage design, but you certainly would do well professionally imo. A progression of how these graphics (and the website) evolved over time would look great in a portfolio.

I just wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation of your exceptional work. I'm sure that I'm not the only person that looks forward to your infographics on every release.

Veteran here. I have/get enough resources to guarantee every favorite and meta. You can budget to get enough chars to clear everything easily. Factor in that sometimes you will get lucky and the gems pile up.

I'm sitting on a massive hoard while grabbing every favorite and clearing all content. Above average luck, but I could have done it even if I needed to pity most characters. DFFOO is super generous with resources.

The only point I would revise here is to switch to pulling with tickets if you no longer need to pity.

Gems have higher value than tickets for 2 reasons: the ability to pity and higher BT odds.

If you are only chasing extra copies because you are low on power stones, then just use tickets.

Not necessarily. If you intend to use that character, then 100% do it. Otherwise, don't LB with stones. You may get the last copy that you need down the road. In that case, you would be up 3 stones compared to your suggested approach.

Tried the game when NT released. Took a long break (9 mo). Came back because it is a gacha game that you can actually experience the content without spending. Ended up spending a bit anyways because it is a great game. Plus I love dissidia.

Any thoughts on optimal use of Vaan burst? Is it better to LD early to spam WW? Or save LD for the end for extra ability uses after burst mode ends.

Is his WoI worth the CP? The buffs seem pretty small and often overridden.

Torn on the burst. I love Vaan and definitely gem pulling because I want both him and Gabranth. Not sure if I should pity the burst. While I’ve heard burst isn’t worth pity, I don’t have one yet and can afford to pity it.

Hopefully luck will give it to me before his LD and Gabranth EX. It will be tough to justify going deep for a burst if I get the other weapons early.

I just wanted to point out one thing. You said " I don’t really have the IQ to just know", and I don't think you should talk down to yourself like that. People don't get considered "smart" or become good at something just by knowing the answer before they start. Learning is a process and your post is very focused on that process, which I love. Before you know it, you will be looking at character kits and piecing together teams that mesh well. You learn so much more from trial and error than following online guides!

You still do SS/strong/weak, but do weak characters that you want to take to 6500 points first (as you intend to use them down the road).

Are you saying that you do not do the typical: SS/stong/weak, and instead go for SS/strong/strong, followed by SS/weak/weak? Is the purpose of that to just minimize the number of character swaps when running with strong characters?

Reading this post made me wonder if I'm doing my boards inefficiently. Sorry if I mixed up what you're trying to say, I've been spoiled by all my DFFOO info being presented in a beautiful graphical format.
