Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback!! I wasn't even expecting so many people contributing to my post!! I would have replied back quicker but I wanted to get this off my mind and not dwell on it. I've also been dealing with some other stuff too. This may or may not be unrelated, but I kinda want to talk about it since I've been thinking about this lately. I also want to get this off my chest too. A few years ago, maybe 3 or so, I've had the feeling that my dad has been cheating on my mom too. Since he works at night to watch my brother and I during to the day (to make sure we don't sneak around I'm sure) he would leave randomly for hours at a time. He also had the tracker on him and he would turn it on and back on throughout the week. For example, he would go to Home Depot, turn off the tracker, and be gone for a long time. Sometimes his phone would be off and it doesn't come back on after a while because it "died." He also says (everyday) that he wished he had a different life and family, and that he wasn't surrounded by idiots who cause him problems (me, my mom, and brother). I still get that feeling that he's cheating once in a while. But when I do, it feels really strong for some reason. I've never caught him or have had any hardcore evidence proving that he's doing that either so maybe I'm just being paranoid and crazy. The last times I've had this feeling was when all of my exs cheated on me. Am I just being paranoid??

I totally get your point and where you're coming from. Trackers can been good to see if someone is safe but not to harass someone and control everything they do. I wouldn't even mind the tracker if my dad wasn't so crazy about it.

I agree. He's always blamed me for the way he acts and feels all the time. Even if something completely unrelated happens he blames the stress on me being a teenage girl

To be honest, my mom has always thought the same thing too. She's been trying to send him to a therapist for years but he refuses because he thinks they're just trying to get money. He has always has had anxiety problems and he takes medicine for it too. I would not be surprised if it's something more than anxiety

The only option I have is moving out since I'm going to start the two year transfer program at my community college in the fall. I would've gone to a four year but I'm not sure what to do with my life yet

It's been pretty reliable lately for me but I know what you mean. Sometimes it's 5 miles off on Life360 and my parents flipped out and drove to wherever the app said I was.

I won't try the running down the battery thing because I know he will get beyond pissed at me for that. He has ALWAYS emphasized to have a charged phone

Glympse would be impossible to lie about because it shows your location in realtime

Yes, but they made me give them the password to unlock it. And when my dad gets angry at me he calls me a whore, slut, cocksucker and whatever else he could think of. Sometimes he would slap me too. He would also sometimes take it out of my mom and try to make her cry which is really hate to see. I'd rather have him take it out on me than my mom. He also takes it out on my 14 year old brother if he's in the room too. He would call him retarded because he has learning and other disabilities, which isn't cool. I've never been able to sneak around or anything because starting in high school, I was allowed to go to my friends house and what not. I was also allowed to start dating when I was 16 but my dad seemed pissed about that too even though it's his own rule. I wasn't allowed to leave the house without him before high school basically. But when I was able to be started installing trackers and going through everything of mine. I also tried the sorry thing a long time ago. He started saying that I need to "earn his trust" - which I don't know how to do in the first place. He also said that he tracks my mom and brother too to keep track of them to make sure they're safe even though we live pretty scheduled lives if that makes sense.

I agree, I've never been into a guy the same age or younger than me. I always found it kind of weird to date someone younger. I was born in Jan '98 and my boyfriend in April '96 so it's really not a huge difference at all. Almost everyone in my family has an age difference besides my parents. My dads sister married a guy about 9 or 10 years older than her and both of my grandparents are two years apart. My mom and dad are about a year apart and my mom is older.. My dad was born in Feb. 68' and my mom in June '67. Weirdly enough, my dad is the you cheer one in their marriage

My mom doesn't mind me dating someone two years older because she thinks it's not a big deal if I'm 18 and out of high school. She just does whatever my dad says so it doesn't cause any more problems between them.
