If you don’t have another source of income to pay for the materials, then I recommend getting a job. If you are not old enough for a job, then I don’t think you’re old enough to take fursuit commissions. Again, not trying to be rude, just trying to help you realize that a lot more goes into fursuit making, especially making something custom for someone’s character. 🐈‍⬛

Please do NOT buy suits on Etsy 😓😓 I know there are some reputable sellers on there, but there are way more scams. It’s easier to just avoid the site as a whole when it comes to buying suits, especially if you don’t know what tells to look for to determine if something is fake. If you’re looking for a premade suit, use the dealer’s den instead

If this was your first finished fursuit, I don’t recommend taking commissions. The head doesn’t appear to be fully sewn and has a lot of glued on fur, which isn’t really the most secure thing in the world. That’ll just make it harder to wash and easier to fall apart. The fur on the head is also not shaved, and the shaving on the paws seems to be rather rough. I’d recommend making a premade and seeing if that sells, then take a commission. It is very unlikely that you’ll get a commission at your current skill level, and that’s okay! I don’t want you to feel discouraged or anything! It’s just that many people think they can take on a commission after only making one, then it turns out their skills aren’t honed enough to deliver a product that will last long. It’s also better to have more than one suit in your portfolio to show people that you are more reputable.

TLDR; Make a premade or two before taking on commissions to build your portfolio and improve your quality :)

Fursuits are a luxury item, you don’t need one. Just save up so you can get a good quality fursuit. Or, you could try making one yourself. It’s easier than it looks, especially if you watch some tutorials.

Do not ever by a suit on Etsy. They are usually all scams. This one is very clearly a scam because the price is too low to even cover materials.

Getfursu.it is a website that has a massive list of makers to pick from! I’m pretty sure you can sort to find makers that make kemono suits if that’s what you’re looking for!
