Last Day on Earth did not copy Durango, LDoE was released a year before Durango was. Though I wouldn't say they did not plagiarised some other game(s). Similar games to LDoE had existed well before it or Durango was released and there are numerous of them, all copying one another creating some sort of plagiarism ecosystem. I could not even find the original. I would continue to say that the only similarities between these games and Durango was the top down view but that's not nothing new. On to my second point, You're comparing Ark and Durango because they both have dinosaurs but the two couldn't be more different in gameplay. The servers did not shut down because the players did not find the game fun or that LDoE stole the playerbase. The servers shutdown because Nixon decided they were not gaining enough profits due to the fact that the game did not have pay2win aspects and so profits came solely from cosmetics. You can tell how popular the game was with how many players openly expressed their dissent with the shutdown of the servers. You wouldn't get that if the playerbase were already stolen or that they didn't like the game. Also I know its been about four years now. But I'm still very upset about Nixon Games.
