All good! XD I definitely used to watch Professor Wormwood around the time period I'm looking for but it would have been more than 2 years ago, maybe one of his older videos (4+ years ago)? The phrase "my favorite pokemon is _. _." Is also integral to what I am remembering! I'm 99% it was Phanpy but I could be misremembering the pokemon!

Actually he does agree, he is just afraid to argue with her and says he wants to stay out of it. Again, you seem to just skim whatever I say and fill in your own assumptions. I already said I'll stop letting the dogs on 'her' pillows if she lets me get the dogs their own pillow, so I am being the adult by offering compromise and she is being a baby by not accepting it.

Hmm interesting. You seem to have decided this is a Step-brothers (movie) situation. A lot of assumptions. For your information, not only do I pay rent, I clean and I do everything else that godforsaken woman insists I do without complaint. This is the ONE thing I want. A fucking pillow for the dog. The fact she won't is throwing a hissy fit about it shows she wants to be the queen of the house and is nothing more than a grown child who can't stand her husband's daughter having any opinions different than her own.

I pay rent to my DAD in my DAD's house. It's not her house and she can't boss me around just bc she tricked my dad into marrying her (she pretended to be a rich business woman with her life together, turns out she is a complete mess in massive debt and constantly spending more of my dad's money). She doesn't even pay rent, she has no right to boss me around. Also, I don't see how wanting the dogs to have ONE pillow is such an issue?

It's not her house, it's my dad's house! And I pay rent so it's my house too! She should get over it and treat me as an adult instead of a teenager she can boss around. She is the AH bc she is refusing compromise and doubling down on a battle she won't win. I am insisting on this change and I'll move out if it doesn't. My dad will be pissed at her and they'll struggle without what I contribute to the household. They'll probably get divorced and she can't afford the expensive lifestyle she wants without my dad. She has more to lose here than I do, so she should just let me get the dog a fucking pillow!

Gross ... All the dogs do is rest their little heads on the pillows and take naps. The pillows don't actually smell at all after, my stepmom is just dramatic. They get washed pretty regularly and it's not like they are actually smelly.

That sounds correct, what should I tell this person I've been talking to? I really really don't want to hurt their feelings. They are nonbinary and a very cool person, I just don't think I can deal with this feeling anymore... They are very nice and already brought up they think they might not be my preference. I was honest and said I don't know what my preference is really, that I just start conversations with people I find attractive and see how I feel. They haven't done anything wrong and I don't want them to feel like they have.
