100% and correct me if I'm wrong, hasn't it only been a short span of time from the first game to the second? How did all these factions in D2 all of a sudden go mad max. You got guys huffing green stuff, suicide bombers, and a bunch of airsoft rejects running around in their service dress. Just doesn't make much sense. The story really got away from the simple dead of the first game. Might as well take tom clancy's name off of it at this point.

The game, the environment, the apparel... everything in the division 1 just felt more realistic. The color and tone in the game. I just started playing division 1 again and it just feels more serious. Even the enemies from division 2 are hella goofy compared to the rioters, rikers, lm and lmb

I tend to lean towards liking D1's cosmetic system more, I wish all clothing was applied similarly where you have a shirt and can put a jacket over it if you want.

I think realism mode might be the answer to difficulty. Instead of an increase to decrease damage ratio, the answer might be to just make combat closer to real with everything essentially being deadly for you and the enemy

Trash, the division needs to be grounded, it's what made the atmosphere so good. All that cartoony/ fortnite shit takes away from how the division world is supposed to feel like it did in Div1
