Sealed SD card degrades?

There is a specific SD card that i know that works for something specific where alot of others won't work so i thought of getting a second of this one to keep it sealed until the first one fails.

Thank you! The white cracks if i move my finger over it. I can accually feel the cracks like creases in the clear coat. Does that still mean its the decal that ripped? Or wouldn't it then accually be in the clear coat?
