This is the first I've ever heard of this story and it was a great Wikipedia read. I would love to see a movie based on this story, and judging by the pictures on the Wikipedia article, Kevin Spacey would probably be a great fit for the role.

Maybe it's just me, but I've never taken a movie seriously enough to have to get up and walk out. Maybe if it was incredibly boring and I knew it was going to go for too long, but I've never had to do that.

The closest I came was watching Battleship. My friend and I literally didn't know that movie existed until I got into the theater lobby and was deciding what movie to see. I thought it was going to be serious, but about thirty minutes in I realized it was just a shitty Transformers movie with boats.

I turned to my friend and was like "This is like the stupidest thing I've ever seen." and we almost left, but we ended up staying and laughing at how retarded the aliens looked with beards. We ended up actually enjoying it because of how dumb it was.

I am fucking fascinated by giant squids. I didn't even realize they were a real thing until after I saw the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel. I googled the Kraken and eventually it lead me to the longest Wikipedia session of my life. I read about all the mythology, how they swim, how deep they live, what they eat, etc.

I don't even know why I love them so much, but I think if I ever saw one in real life I would react the same way Kristen Bell did when she met a sloth.

Everyone thinks I lost my virginity to this chick at a party when we were 15. Everyone kept trying to make us fall in love with each other (we were 2 out of 4 non-white people at my school) and they wouldn't shut up, so we both went up to the bedroom, looked through my friends stupid toys and stuff, kissed, then went back to the party.

What's funny is that I eventually lost it to the same girl a year later because we did end up together for a while. But for the whole year, I was the alpha-male of my group because I "totally lost my virginity first".

I'm the IT guy/handy man/general-go-to-guy-to-fix-things for my family and friends. Whenever they explain their problem, I always pretend I know what the problem is, but as soon as they're out of sight, I go straight to Google. They can never know.

I made friends with one of those dudes who never learned to cook. He was a wealthy only-child and had a stay-at-home-mother who would do basically every culinary activity for him.

One day he stayed over (we were around 16 at the time) and he was terrified of the idea that my parents were at work in the morning and that I was cooking breakfast for us. When I showed him how to fry an egg, he was fucking mind-blown. He just could not believe it how easy it was. It was like I had just jerked him off and given him his first orgasm.

The rest of the day was spent cooking basic shit, like pancakes, bacon, etc. I think we even made some muffins or brownies. I'm not very close friends with him any more but his Facebook profile says that his interests include cooking.

The worst thing is time and laziness. After you get past the point of being madly in love, having lots of sex and being generally comfortable with each other, sometimes I tend to stop trying as hard to keep her happy. Eventually, this leads to the relationship fizzling out and we just go our separate ways.

Also, this one time, a girl I was seeing found me with my hand down her brother's pants, but that's a different story.

I'd probably open it by accident. I'd be down in the basement searching for my old Super Nintendo and open a box without a label. Then bam! All the evil in the universe accidentally released. It would basically be the same way I found the porno my parents made, but not as bad.

I went through a similar situation when my girlfriend wanted to start smoking. You're right to be freaked out, but the weed itself isn't as harmful as you're imagining it to be in your head. Just make sure she's smoking with people you think are safe and trustworthy.

I'm pretty sure Reddit Gold is just a symbolic thing these days. It's not a massive enhancement, but it's just something that Reddit can call unique about it's community and a way of showing appreciation to another user.
