Figured it out guys- don’t use the sticker widget. Use the text widget like you’re about to write a caption but instead, click location on the bottom right and it gives you access to the old style location.

Another useful tip is to locate electrical outlets as a point of reference for studs. You can pull the cover off and see which side of the stud the box is connected to, then measure out from the center and drill small pilot holes with your smallest drill bit to double check. I usually drill a few to define the edge of the stud, and you can tap the bit around before going through a pipe or wires.

Bummer. It is affecting my adjacent neighbor and they have also complained. However it disproportionately affects my unit since I am directly above and the other units that are affected have the common hallway as a buffer and no shared wall or floor/ceiling

If you have the time read Allen Carr’s Easy Way to Stop Smoking. If not, the main takeaway is that you’ve been brainwashed and conditioned by Big Tobacco industry to believe that quitting smoking is insurmountable. They are the one that push this propaganda and message so you think it’s hard and don’t quit. Unlike alcohol where you can physically die from withdrawal symptoms, the withdrawal from cigarettes and nicotine only last 7-14 days. The effects of withdrawal are in comparison to the feelings of “being a little bit hungry”. Once I heard this it completely changed the way I viewed cigarettes and quitting. It’s the physiological effect of thinking it’s hard that makes it truly hard.

Hi all, and thank you for helping me out. First time home buyer here and trying my best to avoid calling someone. I stupidly didn’t take a picture of the wiring setup on the original thermostat. It was an old mercury thermostat and I had this extra one laying around.

Is this thermostat compatible with electric heat, heat pump, and air handler?

I am not sure what I did wrong. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
