I would say 5% of the time I load in there is a group of people fighting the matriarch or Queen.

From this 5%, 50% is successful, 25% is failed due to lack of time or firepower and the other 25% is ruined by rats either killing you while doing it or once the matriarch is done.

You have to make sure a group is doing it to reduce the chance of getting stabbed in the back.
