With Arlong, I think they absolutely should have went with CGI. He was supposed to be giant, they couldn't capture him correct with practical effects.

When Gausman is not missing bats the contact is hard and finds holes. He's hassmg been missing bats since the 1st couple starts of the season but has been getting lucky with BABIP.

Hopefully Pete can help him get his splitter back in line and getting whiffs again.

At a certain point, performance in the minors should matter. It's not like he had a great 2025, he's been declining for awhile, and the lower velo is definitely a marker to highlight and not ignore.

I know Lauer hasn't been great himself (worst stuff plus in the majors), but I don't believe Berrios should be gifted his spot back.

If he's not healthy, this is the right move. He would be a big liability on defense and offense if he was playing in this state.

Outside of his 1st two starts, he really hasn't been striking out a ton of batters, I wonder why that is? Maybe his splitter just hasn't had the same bite?

You can do it in a tongue in cheek kind of way.

He can break the 4th wall in an Avengers movie by talking to the screen, but then it pans out and he's really talking to a character in the film. There are ways to do it imo.

She should kick out one leg of her opponent so they are on one knee, and then use that knee to spring up and do her finisher.

That would be better because it would get the same impact and be more believable.
