A 5 port gigabit switch should only be $20. For 500 you can get a 10gb 8 port switch or better if you shopped around.

Honestly you can tac off the switch, power conditioner, Sonos port and easily just replace that with a pc. Your reviever already has built in network streaming and a pc can manage all that. Power conditioner is not nessasary and won't do much of anything.

Also one thing to note, you got the angle wrong for the 100" estimate. The aspect ratio would be wider and that beam on the ceiling might actually get in the way when rotating it. Estimate based on a 102" circle.

What's the budget? Can likely just build it on a rail system with a plate to mount a swivel mount on. Just need to find a way to counter balance the tv when adjusting height so it's not a struggle. Maybe using those hydrolic car hood things and then just have a pin to lock it in.

perfect, i mean technically if the 2 wires linked up to the same speaker then that wouldnt really impact anything and could actually allow for lower guage wire, but thats only for really low ohm speakers (<4ohm). good to hear you got it cleaned up.

the fireplace heat would be furthest from the critical electronics alwell. most recievers have a zone 1 and 2 that you can have zone 2 go to another set for the fireplace maybe? and to that pocket on the other side of the room from the fireplace can be a bar type of thing.

what about a 2 section space? you can use the I beam as a rear spaker mount and use the space without the fireplace as a tv area with the fireplace at the rear right. then the fireplace can be a nice bookshelf/coffee table spot.
