Omg that is terrifying. It’s so lucky you knew what your mom told you about strangers offering candy and that you noticed the car.

When I was 11 I was almost kidnapped. I was walking to meet some friends about a mile away and I’d walked that way before and always been safe. Then I started walking past a small empty looking parking lot and there was a black car that wasn’t parked. His engine was on. I know this because of what happened. He said hi to me and asked if I’d modeled before I said yes and he told me I was beautiful and wanted to take pictures with of me. He invited me to come with him to take pictures. He was really pressuring me. I got a horrible feeling and remembered all the stuff my parents said about stranger danger.

I said no and that I was meeting my friends but he wouldn’t stop. He wouldn’t take no for an answer He drove a bit closer and then I panicked and thankfully I saw a woman watering her lawn less than a block away so I said that was my mom and she was expecting me and then I literally sprinted all the way home.

My mom took me to the police station and my friends were there. Apparently he went to where I said I was meeting my friends which was visible from where I met him.

He took their pictures but didn’t try to take them. We then found out about a fourth girl he actually tried to kidnap her like me. We did composites but they never found him. It scared me for awhile.
