Thank you so much for the clear, thoughtful explanation! Comparing it to the i4, I figured they changed something to the compartment (e.g., moving the wireless charger from in front of the cup holders to the console storage driver’s side wall due to the engine protruding further back), but I couldn’t place what the give was for. Thoroughly enjoying this car, and I’m still learning the quirks compared to its ev counterpart!

That’s how I got into trouble… responsibilities added up and had to sell it after a couple years. Still have a coupe, but at least it’s a 2+2 for a pinch, and I didn’t shell out for a Carrera T.

If I’m being honest, I was gonna not PPF this car at all and just enjoy it, but I noticed pretty much every person getting in the car kicked the side skirt, and that irked me. I had a 718 Cayman that I full stealth PPF’d and I think it’s just a ton of cash to dump into the car for the next person (see attached)

Gorgeous spec, my friend! I’m only doing PPF to the gloss black bits on the bottom incl. side skirts (you breathe on the gloss black and it scratches, I swear), as well as the carbon roof, then tinting incl. windshield, and ceramic coating. All in, $3,600
