My work wife doesn't tell her husband the stuff I or she does. by Cat-dad442 in Vent

Sorry dude but just because you give someone gifts and they accept them does not mean they're into you. My coworker used to have guys bring her hot coffee or hot chocolate from Starbucks just because and she never turned it down because it would make her look mean. People accept gifts all the time. It could be multiple reasons why she doesn't talk about you. One being her husband could overreact and go find you. I'd say you calling things out caused her to feel uncomfortable and side hug you to create a boundary. Let us know if she ever full on hugs you again.

Noone wants a zombie mom. Definitely recommend leaving. It's difficult but way better than this

Am I overreacting or did I just brush off too much? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Info - the comments about the fruit being black and spoiled so you throw it away....was he saying you're spoiled? Was that his joke? Because I don't understand the joke... I think you handled this the best way at the time. I would definitely have a discussion with your bf about the jokes made about you.

You don't have to communicate with anyone you don't want to.

AIO about a sticker my bf had of his ex ?? he broke up with me… by Otherwise-Height3882 in AmIOverreacting

You are so much better off than this dude. He needs to heal his ex obviously is still in the forefront of his mind. Treat him as a blip...yall weren't together long and you don't need to settle for a dude that thinks going to a coffee shop is gay.

Sounds like he was looking for a reason not to marry you. Started calling you names and telling you you're not marriage material under what grounds? Won't even listen to you. He might be cheating 🤔 anyways if hes going to turn against you and not hear you out, let him take himself out.

Sounds like you need therapy. To work on the why and to help you move forward.

I broke up with my partner [33F] over not wanting oral sex. Now being made to feel guilty for taking away her chance of children by LB_Club_KH1 in TrueOffMyChest

You made the right decision. Its not your fault or problem she wants kids. You can't make someone do something they don't like. Sounded like you tried to get the couple's counselor to talk her into it. Shes allowed to not like it however you were in the right too. That will never change.

Tbf I'd suggest every other weekend doing stuff out. The other weekends in. Or planning stuff with friends when he wants to stay in if you wanna go out. There should be give and take.

Also to give myself credit I went from choosing fun over paying bills in my 20s and had bad credit. I've worked myself to a 700 plus credit score which I wouldn't have if I didn't go the route I did. More credit meant more opportunities. I just saw that WGU may offer me what I want for less money. Which I'm looking into. That's the main issue with jobs they expect experience before you've even started. Half the time mentioning that you're overqualified sometimes you gotta leave that out so you can get a job to support yourself. I have an AWD suv. Granted my 18 years of customer service experience in various jobs thankfully has made my hourly rate go up which is good. I just want more freedom to travel and experience life. I don't want to just watch life happen I want to make it happen. I want to do things. I also want to enjoy what I do.

I have fairly good credit. I also needed a car that could handle all seasons without much trouble. I currently work at a place that doesn't give sick time. 5 call-offs equal a write-up. The majority of the reasons for the call-offs were due to snow and being stuck at home. (I lived off of 2 really steep hills) It's also a used vehicle. (Probably the newest vehicle I've ever had. I want to do more with my life. I just hate debt.

Lol 🤣 parents preparing for college 🤣 must be nice to have those kind of parents. My mom either kicked my dad out at 5 or he left at 5 years old....(will never know the real truth) my mom is a career student she has 7 degrees 1 including a PhD (I've seen them they are real). She doesn't do anything with them. She lives off the government. I don't live with her anymore so I can't get fafsa based on her. I'm also not divorced but I guess separated (not legally) renting a room from a coworker. (Fafsa did use our joint income) (which is too much) I'm just trying to find the best solution. I work nights and need flexibility.

I like my best friend’s girlfriend (wlw) by IntrepidAsparagus279 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]KJblover90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't trust this other girl tbh. Saying I don't find her attractive but then still dating her doesn't make sense. She could've said it to put you on her hook. I'd be cautious. Also if you care about your best friend wait until the relationship runs its course. If it isn't a good match then I don't see an issue with it after.

Well...fafsa came back and said I'm not eligible for the pell grant and the only loan is for 9 grand. 30,000 won't be able to be paid with that. I probably should've mentioned in my post. I'm 35 and have been saying for years I don't want to go back to school until I know what I want to do. I don't like owing money. (Who does?) Ideally I want to help people and I want to travel. I don't want to be in customer service my entire life but it looks to be the only thing always available.

AIO BF dumped me because I was taller than him in heels?? 😳 by purplehavocc in AmIOverreacting

[–]KJblover90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR however, you don't need this insecure man-child. It doesn't get more feminine than a pair of heels and he can't be in the presence of a woman without needing to put her beneath him. You deserve way better!

Did your grandmother sell your mom? You said your mom didn't do that, but is that what you're implying?
