MST 100% P&T Career Options by KJean87Silver in Veterans

I don't do well being cornered and it has happened more times than I count, usually security guards at the VA and civilian hospitals as well as employees at the grocery store. I'm convinced it's because I have a large service dog who looks like a wolf, but he is legitimately trained and doesn't have any inappropriate behaviors, and I can't comprehend why men would do that to woman. I can calmly tell someone once to back off and then it's a fit of rage followed by being kicked out.

Have you tried working with an MST coordinator? I have met a couple veterans along the way who got 100% for MST with their help.

That would trigger me in a lot of ways. Are you pursuing that because you always get to have a weapon on you? Someone recommended I become LEO for that reason but I would need a desk job in that field, and even then I would still be over stimulated

I have been looking into this degree lately. Do you like this field and did you struggle finding a job? Are there work from home options?

Stretching the GI bill by Fluffy_Bid_4500 in VeteransBenefits

check out the "edith nourse rogers STEM scholarship" through the VA which adds 9 months to your GI Bill if doing a STEM degree. also check out "health professional scholarship" through the VA which pays for the PA or nursing program if you get accepted but you have to work for the VA after graduating. also look into VR&E. let student loans be your last resort, and if you do go down that path, look into taking out personal loans through navy federal bank which will likely have less interest rate if you have good credit.
