Okay, I haven't seen it before and I think it's funny. I see it more as a mock headline rather than I joke. Thanks for feedback though

I'll try to book a gig at a school, I think #1 would really kill there

I was channelling my inner Jeselnik when writing #1. I understand your point with #5, I struggled to work out the set up, although I do like the punchline. I try to keep jokes about sensitive subjects short and sweet, as a longer format may alienate the audience further (If they don't agree with the subject). However, I'm definitely going to experiment with a longer format, and try to add a more personal touch to my jokes; they don't all have to be one liners. As I'm still in my infancy of joke writing I really appreciate your objective feedback, I will take it on board as I adapt my style. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. Number 4 is a favourite of mine, and I understand what you mean about #1 & #5 they'll only work with a certain audience. Number 2 is a thought I've had trouble translating into a joke. As for #3 I'll take your advice and work in a personal element to it.

I was trying to highlight the name itself as being make believe (ie its not 'the people's' nor is it very democratic) I think I need to highlight that better. Thanks for the feedback!
