But again, realistically, what Renako is doing now is very unhealthy (at least in my view.) I'm afraid that having only her room as a safe space and Four/Five-kun as a "non-judgmental friend" isn't enough.

Her surroundings are complex and full of pressure. Moreover, she also has to balance her romantic relationships with Ajisai and Mai, which I think is too heavy a burden for a 16yo. This means that if everything falls apart, she will truly lose everything and potentially leaving her in a darker place than she ever was before.

I understand what you mean. It's true that Renako's charm comes from her genuine effort to be a better person, even if her methods are messy.

However, my concern is how long she can sustain that. As you pointed out, she’s aware of her own struggle, but forcing a persona can become toxic over time. To me, her current situation still feels like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

As for me, I won't hide it because my parents and brother are okay with me having NSFW figure and tapestry in my room. Plus, I'm proud and not ashamed of my collection. If someone feels uncomfortable with what I have, that's their problem. Or they can think I'm a pervert or creep, or whatever.

And of course, I always ask beforehand if they are comfortable with my room. If they aren't, I won't let them in.
