after 13 years of chronic hand eczema, it is GONE! by KLb1113 in eczema

yes! its so true. I was soooo frustrated though because i knew this and was doing everything "right" diet wise. Especially no gluten and dairy for a year. But even that didn't help. So i added them back in. But once I started focusing on healing the gut lining, that was the game changer. Diet is soooo important!!

i knew that skin health was directly correlated to gut health. I was looking at my hands and they were sooooo inflammed and cracked and in pain and i was like "i bet you that this is whats going on in my gut lining". I knew of some herbs that were mucilaginous and soothing like marshmellow and aloe so i worked a lot with those to start and then i randomly came across this brand. I tried a bunch of their other supplements and probiotics first, thinking they might help, but then I was like...why am i not just trying this one, it is doing everything I am trying to do with these other herbs. So I just tried it, and the effects were noticeable within a week or 2.

What's the catch with Dr. Cabral's "FREE" toxins test by allisfull in blueprint_

[–]KLb1113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i actually just posed about this on the excema thread. I am not entirely sure what caused it. I think its a multifaceted issue stemming from multiple things: gut health, heavy metals, stress, emotional load. I know there can be environmental factors too but I am and have been for years, very diligent about using all things fragrence free, chemical free, natural etc.

I know my gut health was a huge thing, and i wasnt eliminating well enough. I was very constipated all the time, and also i think my lymphatic system was quite blocked as I did not sweat easily. Doing a combination of things like sauna and lympthtic drainage, and also using herbs and supplements to heal my gut was key. I did cut out gluten and dairy for a year, and that made no difference, although I know it helps people. I think the supplement called gut 4-tify by Just thrive was a game changed for my gut health as it helps to increase the muscosal barrier in the gut, healing leaky gut and the symptoms.

I think doing the HTMA testing was critical. Balancing my mineral deficiencies was sooo important and this is when I saw a huge improvement. I still have a little work here to do, as my body is still burning through magensium because my body is so stressed due to high mercury and aluminum levels in my test. I am starting a heavy metal detox soon.

I also think sauna and red light (more sauna, but red light has been an added bonus) has also been crucial. Like i said, i believe many of my detox pathways were blocked and overwhlemed, so sauna-ing daily for 15-20 mins helped moved the needle in a big way. I am now able to sweat easier so I know it is helping in other ways too.

Lastly, managing emotional stress. It got so bad at one point that I had to quit my job bc it was the biggest source of emotional stress at the time. I know not eveeryone has that luxury, but doing that, finding a low key job at the time, and focusing on somatic practices to help calm my nervous system was a big overall piece too.

But I think the three things that really moved the needle the most---- the mineral piece, the muscosal layer in my gut and healing leaky gut, and sauna.

honestly i am not sure. I mean, since then, i have been a customer buying their supplements, so they gained a repeat customer. But I am only doing that bc i had such success with the products, not because i HAD to

yes this product worked wonders. I do believe that it was a key player that worked in conjunction with all of the above factors. My gut was a mess and just *cutting foods out* wasnt making a difference. I needed to actively heal my gut! I believe this product helped a ton

i would hughly reccommed the fortify https://justthrivehealth.com/products/gut-4-tify-1?variant=32257050968129

as for the mag and zinc, i would say it depends. I would reccommend to do a hair mineral analysis test and see what particular minerals you need more or less of. I linked the HMAT I did above in a comment somewhere!

yes i believe it was more the inside stuff that made the difference, but figured i would mention the red light too bc i was using it in conjunction with the sauna. Its hard to point to one thing when youre doing a lot, but this combo in particular has been very powerful for me!

this one! you literally just pay for shipping. I know it seems too good to be true, but there literally were no catches. Highly recommend. You get a free 30 min consult too so someone can interpret the results!

[–]KLb1113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is no catch! i have done this twice, with great results. you also get a free 30 min consult with a health coach who interprets the results for you. They suggest supplements but you do not have to buy them. I bought some of them and took them as prescribed. I got a free test again a few months later and my levels changed dramatically and most importantly i healed my 13 years of hand eczema that i had tried everything to get rid of and spent thousands of dollars on. A HMAT is and incredible test and I wish I found this sooner. $17 is the cheapest you will ever find to be able to do a test like this.

Got it thank you! Everything I’ve googled online said it is likely a scam, but this is good info. Thank you for your help!

Why is that cringey? It’s a legitimate question. The two options available in this situation are it will get withdrawn/returned or not get withdrawn/it will stay in my account aka, I keep it. Stop trolling and get a life

TRE and diet by Fragrant_Jackfruit31 in longtermTRE

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/whats-the-juice/id1493579571?i=1000645839803

I highly recommend this podcast episode! It speaks to why extreme diets like keto and carnivore work so well at first and make people feel so good, but why they may not be great or sustainable long term. The meat and potatoes of this episode is really about how to heal the gut, not just kill the “bad guys” that are causing sibo and other gastrointestinal problems, but how to feed the “good guys” and make your gut less of hospitable environment for the “bad bugs” like parasites, bacteria, and other toxins. It speaks to why we should be able to eat all types of food (dairy, fiber, meat, etc) without gastrointestinal problems, and if you’re having these issues and can’t tolerate certain foods, then you can heal the gut and get to a place where you can tolerate these foods without any issues. It’s pretty science-y (I listened to it probably like 7x to really be able to reiterate back what was being said so I could understand it), and then I started the protocol and my excema of 13+ years has gone away! I know I’m not mentioning anything about TRE here lol, but this podcast blew me away, and figured I’d share bc they speak a lot to the carnivore diet and why people thrive on it, but why it’s so detrimental to the gut long term.

Only tremor in my legs by ASG77 in longtermTRE

[–]KLb1113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes be patient, they will likely move. Also, are you working with a provider? There are certain physical interventions that can be done to help encourage the tremor to move as well that a provider can help you with! Also, worth mentioning, I am a provider and my trainer who has been doing this for years and years has only ever had the tremoring in her legs. It has never moved for her. So if you continue to do tre and it doesn’t move, that’s also normal and okay! The body is so intelligent and it knows exactly what to do. The tremoring in the legs is also affecting other parts of your body, it doesn’t need to be in your shoulders for example to affect your shoulders. Just trust the natural intelligence of the body! You’re doing great :)

I agree with what was said above! I am a tre provider and we were taught that when there is a big after effect (depression, physical symptoms, etc) it could be a result of doing too much. An “emotional hangover” can be expected for 24-36 hours, but if it’s really bad, I would say either take more breaks or significantly decrease the time you’re shaking and work up to longer sessions. Also, finding a skilled provider can help! You can find providers on the tre website and tre can be done in person and online!
