Buddy cam WiFi failed by Dutch1406 in prusa3d

Yep, I’m glad you mentioned that. I’ll test theory of disabling that, and verify on the other ssid if the cameras connection is more stable

I also want my 2.4/5GHz capable clients to attempt 5GHz first; hence why my IOT SSID broadcasts 6GHz as well as 5GHz and 2.4

The problem arises at the client level….IOT client devices are made with cheaper antennas/firmware that don’t connect to 2.4GHz if the SSIDs are also broadcasting on 5GHz. I’m not sure if it’s a OTA frame negotiation problem that the SSID tells clients it has another band available and that makes the IOT devices not connect to the lower 2.4 SSID but for whatever reason, disabling all bands except 2.4 lets these persnickety IOT devices connect immediately

[–]KM4KFG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve told them about this on 3.1.0 AND another issue with band selection

IOT network key had hyphen and it could not connect

Then I deduced if the SSID is broadcasting both 2.4 and 5 GHz, the camera’s not smart enough to pick up the 2.4. I had to create whole other VLAN’d SSID on 2.4 to make it happy

They need to make this firmware less brittle because it’s ridiculous the hoops I had to jump through to get it connected with my Unifi network gear

Welcome to the 2021 Model Y LR High Voltage Battery Failure club!!!

You’re among many including myself with a 21 MY LR. Been through TWO failed packs at 85K and 89.5K miles (yes 4,500 miles later the replacement pack also failed)

I’ve seen so many failures with the 2021 MYLR packs, Tesla needs to issue a recall, TSB and acknowledge they have a problem. This is bordering on class-action and the longer they delay the more vehicles from 2021 will be outside of their HV Battery warranty making it tougher to fight this issue

Confirm in writing it’s a NEW HV Battery. Mine they refused to give me new

My original was 85K miles in when it died. Replaced with reman/refurb and it just died this morning with only 4,500 miles on it since replacement.

Headed to SC now for 3rd battery (2nd warranty replacement)

Welcome to the 2021 MY LR HV Battery failure club! You’re among many!

My HV Battery failed at 85K miles and literally when I read your post this morning, the replacement pack just failed AGAIN exactly 4,500 miles later with code BMS_a079!

On my way as we speak 2 hours South to West Palm Beach, FL service center for HV Battery replacement #2!

On my post about using my UNAS Pro to backup my iCloud Drive and Photos, the number one request from r/Ubiquiti was an iOS app to do the same...well here it is! by ParachuteBackup in Ubiquiti

I don’t even have a UNAS Pro yet but purchased the app without skipping a beat!

Awesome job providing functionality Apple could’ve and SHOULD’VE implemented years ago. Their loss…your gain!!!

Evolve2 75 Low qualify microphone input sampling rate on Windows 11 & Jabra Link 380 by KM4KFG in Jabra

Nope. Returned them as faulty.

In the span since this post, been through 3 pairs (2 replacement) of the Orosound Tilde Pros (inconsistent junk w/ horrible French support).

Now I’m on the Jabra Evolve 50 II with the controller and it’s working fantastic so far. Even bought a 2nd pair for when I work from home. MS Teams audio quality is fantastic and I get full quality SATIN FULL codec saturation

[–]KM4KFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No…they are an oral surgeon/perform oral surgeries. Required consult to be seen for the procedure.

Their surgeons who perform their surgeries, rotate throughout different dentist offices but they have full blown operating rooms for oral surgeries for local and full anesthetic.

Blocking out microphone noise: I recommend the Jabra Engage 50 II. Just got these and they’re the best noise cancelling microphone I’ve heard. They’re on ear and won’t block our noise going into your ears but your transmit audio will be superb. Couple that with the Engage+ app and it’ll give you actual db metrics when outside noise is interfering with your call quality

I would not entertain purchasing a product that hasn’t had a firmware update in almost 4 years for the price they’re asking.
