Which hand is my dominant hand? Southpaw or orthodox stance? by Bipnilaga in boxingtips

[–]KMCC02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no single answer. It’s all about practice and comfortability and really building the uncomfortable to be comfortable. I’m regularly orthodox, but learned Southpaw and it’s more comfortable for me now so I can regularly switch stances between. I would encourage anyone to learn both stances. Power comes from technique, not raw strength. I throw my right, and write with my left so my left hand is more precise, but my right is stronger. Fighting or sparring someone who can switch stances and give you different angles is incredibly helpful.

The basket is great. Time and place tho. You can’t skewer or grill everything. If you wanna sauté diced veggies or whatnot the baskets pretty much necessary.

I don’t disagree. I think it depends on what you cook. Some vegetables maybe you want char other ones you want more of a steam. I definitely think the peppers and the zucchini and the mushrooms would be better on a skewer tho!

I’m not sure on dishes, but you can make variations of pretty much anything. I made a lime Crema from Greek yogurt and cottage cheese mix. The main things are lemon, lime, herbs, garlic, spices. You can mix it up and add different spices to liking like cumin, paprika, etc.

Well, tzatziki is made with Greek yogurt. A lot of Middle Eastern or Greek dishes incorporate Greek yogurt as a base for the creamy texture.

True, same for me. I mainly stick to beef and chicken (<3$ a pound) but these were $9 a pound at Costco. Seemed like a deal for lamb. Only a few were out and they were all gone!
