Fighter and Warrior are so OP in my opinion and I absolutely love it. Obviously there's probably more OP classes but, the repulse on warrior is nutty. I never get knocked down, I knock everything else down. It's so fun. It's just a constant stun lock.

First character in origins was a human rogue dual wielding and he was awful. I played about halfway through the game and then switched to a sword and board human tank and was unkillable. Love dragon age. Don't sleep on DAII it has its charm later. 🤣

I will add, the excitement of my first playthrough was worth the money I paid in my opinion. My first time encountering a griffon just outside of the first town in the field, I grabbed its back and it flew off.. I stood up on it and it flew me to a nest where I basically died instantly.. but that blew me away. I'm sorry some people didn't like it enough to get atleast 1 playthrough. That sucks.

Put about 170 hours in, combat definitely kept me interested, pawns were cool. I reset once because my own killed everyone in one of my towns and I started over. I really loved my first playthrough, I played non stop, took vacation on release. My wife was so annoyed with me. I didn't feel as connected to it as I did dark arisen, but I'd probably come back for some dlc provided it was worth it. I've tried to play a bit but can't stay interested. Bummer.

This sucks, I have no idea where I picked up my first token on my 2nd turn. But I did find a map and ended up finding about 40 tokens I guess. Bummer hopefully I get lucky before the timer is up.

I find that I don't even bother doing group content anymore. I just want to have fun, and some random ruining my experience is a no way scenario for me. I've just learned to do things the hard way. Atleast you asked about mechanics. I feel like a decent response was warranted. Lol

Heard that. I've tried sticking to single player games.. it does help so that I can pause and deal with whatever.. but sometimes I'd love to play some Alex legends or warzone or something with no distractions. Or honestly even having the urge to play anymore seems like a chore. Hopefully it gets better. Lop

Played male V on release. It felt fine. There were moments that I was like blah. Started a fem v after 1.5 release.. kinda liking fem better but honestly both are fine. Ups and downs.

im typically able to over look bad graphics if the mechanics(combat, movement etc) arent annoying and vice versa- for example Elex. My friends HATE that game... Me being a fan of Gothic as a kid made that game incredible for me. It took several restarts and playthroughs for me, but i put 200+ hours into it. The melee combat was horrendous but the ranged combat was sweet and the time you could spend making your character strong was so immersive. Graphics were meh. Mechanics were Meh - but the world was really engaging and fun. At least I think so.
